🎾🎾 GMTA Juniors - Saturday Morning Tennis Competition 2026/27 🎾🎾

We’re inviting players to submit their Expression of Interest for the upcoming season.

Season Dates:
Saturday 10th October-12th December, 2026,
30th January-28th February, 2027
(General Bye - Melbourne Cup weekend)

If your child is keen to play this season, please register your interest by Friday 11th September.

🎾 Expressions of Interest – Tennis Lessons at Murchison Tennis Club 🎾

We’re excited to announce upcoming Thursday tennis lessons during October and November!

There will likely be three lesson groups:

• Beginner Kids (ages 4–12) – fun, skill-building sessions for young players starting out.
• Experienced Kids (ages 10–18) – focused coaching to refine technique and match play.
• Adults (all abilities) – social, enjoyable lessons for everyone keen to improve or get back on court.

COURTS CLOSED

Our courts will be closed effective immediately to public play whilst they are resurfaced. The resurfacing should take a week, but we will communicate when they are reopened.

It’s an exciting time for our club to get fresh new courts. In order to keep our courts in tip top shape, all skateboards, bikes and scooters will be banned on the courts.

We trust you understand this, and we can’t wait to welcome you to our new courts!

Hot Shots Program – Murchison Tennis Club

The Murchison Tennis Club are excited to offer a community‑run Tennis Australia Hot Shots Program designed for children of all tennis abilities, up to 15 years of age. Our 45‑minute after‑school sessions provide a fun, supportive and active environment where kids can learn the basics, build confidence and develop a love of the game.

All sessions are delivered by local volunteers, and parents are warmly welcomed to assist on court. Whether your child is picking up a racquet for the first time or looking to further develop their skills, our program ensures everyone is included and encouraged.
