Our Senior student closed out the Wellington Eisteddfod weekend with a beautiful ballet performance of her own choreography.

With every movement, she showed such grace, passion and a genuine love for ballet. Watching her bring her own choreography to life on stage was truly special. 🩷

What a beautiful way to finish our 2026 competition season! We couldn't be more proud of everything our dancers have achieved this year so far. ✨

Now it's time to turn our focus to our 2026 Ballet Exams 🩰 and, of course… CONCERT PREPARATIONS! 🎭✨

✨ Emily’s First Eisteddfod! ✨

What a special moment for our beautiful Emily, taking to the stage for her very first eisteddfod with her Hip Hop solo! 🤎🔥

After being awarded our Scholarship Award at the end of last year, Emily has spent the past 6 months learning and preparing for her solo as well as finding her very own hip hop groove.

She was incredibly nervous stepping onto that stage, but she showed us what true courage looks like — taking a deep breath, pushing through those nerves and stepping out there anyway! ❤️

We couldn't be prouder of you, Emily. What an incredible achievement! ✨

From powerful and expressive to elegant and refined, she showcased just how versatile she is as a dancer.

And just like that… only ONE DAY of the Wellington Eisteddfod to go for Beyond the Beat!

We can't wait to see our final dancers take the stage tomorrow. Bring on the final day! 🩰✨

✨ What a way to kick off our Wellington Eisteddfod weekend! ✨

Our very first Beyond the Beat dancer, took to the stage today for her very first dance eisteddfod. She competing in two Musical Theatre sections—and came away with awards in both! 🤩

🥈 2nd Place – Musical Theatre Solo
🌟 Encouragement Award – Musical Theatre Improvisation

We are incredibly proud of you, Avoca! Your hard work, bravery and confidence on stage truly shone through, and you've given Beyond the Beat Dance Studio the perfect start for this years Wellington Eisteddfod.

A Peter Pan Inspired Concert

Keeping this a secret has been one of the hardest things I've ever had to do! There have been so many moments where I almost let it slip, so I'm very relieved that the secret is finally out. 💚

A huge congratulations to everyone who entered our concert theme guessing competition!
👏 Juliet, Sophie and Elli correctly guessed Peter Pan, and a very special congratulations to Isabella, who not only guessed Peter Pan but also correctly guessed our concert title, Faith, Trust and a little Pixie Dust! ✨

A very special thank you to Lehanra Greeff for bringing our vision to life with this absolutely stunning concert poster. We couldn't be happier with how it turned out!

We can't wait to take our dancers, families and audience on a magical journey to Neverland at the end of the year. Let the concert countdown begin! ⭐🏴‍☠️🧚‍♀️💚
