What an amazing afternoon at Big Little Fest at Coorparoo Square! ✨

This marked the first public performance of the year for our Mount Gravatt East State School Dance Team, and what a fantastic way to kick off an exciting season ahead! 💚💛

Our dancers had confidence, enthusiasm and plenty of smiles, showcasing the hard work they’ve already put into learning and rehearsing their routines. For many of our students, this was their very first time performing in front of a public audience, and they rose to the occasion beautifully. 🥰

While we’re only halfway through the year, today’s performance was a wonderful reminder of what our program is all about – building confidence, creating friendships, making lasting memories and sharing a love of dance. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store as our teams continue working towards their competition goals. 💫

A huge thank you to our incredible families and supporters who came along to cheer on our dancers. Your encouragement means the world to them. ✨

If you’re looking for a fun family day out, Big Little Fest is running from 10:00am–3:00pm with plenty of FREE activities and entertainment for everyone to enjoy 🎈🎶

Get ready for a magical night under the stars on the Green! 🌿 Bring your family, your friends, and your cosy vibes , it’s going to be a wonderful community evening 💖

Here are a few friendly reminders to help make the night smooth and fun for everyone:

🌟 Family-friendly event – children must be supervised by a parent/carer
🌟 Everyone’s invited! Feel free to bring along family and friends
🌟 Payment options – cash is accepted at all stalls, with Eftpos available at some

🎟️ You can also grab $1 “Ticket Booth” vouchers (via Eftpos) to make it easier for the kids to buy food and treats

🌙 Dress warm – it might get a little chilly!

🧺 Bring a picnic rug to sit on (please keep chairs to a minimum so everyone can enjoy the view)

🚧 Please stay on the Green between C & D Block — the rest of the school will be fenced off for safety
