Looks like David Leverett saved two shots with Charlie Agius and Prithi De Zoysa both pressing against the jack as well. Clayton Sports Club's popular Wednesday Night BPL CUP style Triples is back under the Cobra Dome. Great format, fantastic venue and solid competition. Get your team in fast and tune up for the upcoming season. Weekly substitutes are no problem if needed.

Clayton Sports Club's Wednesday Night Competition is back.
Prep for Pennant season on a brilliant surface at a welcoming club by entering a team to share in the prizemoney.
The format ensures tight contests and provides the regular important shot moments that we all play for.
We look forward to starting up again August the 19th.

We wrapped up our Wednesday Night competition under the Cobra Dome last night and the $1200 cash winning prize went to Mitch Pepper,Annette McCormick and Paul Meyers (left to right in photo below with organiser Ryan Dixon on left)).
A well-deserved win by a side who played great bowls for six weeks and displayed a classy approach on and off the green. Special mention to Mark Petty who was in the side most of these six weeks. I hope you get your share of the prizemoney Mark!!!

The top four earned cash prizes and it was a very tight finish with the leaderboard seeing Paul Nichols, James Thompson and Ash O'Brien edged out by set margin to hold on to second place. Set margin was also the only factor for the third placed Stingray's side consisting of Brendan Watson, Craig Whatman and Michael Williams. One win behind these three sides was the well named Geriatrics team being Snags Clifford, Graham Everitt and Colin Watson. Great bowls by all finishing top four.

Thank you to all the other competitors. Great energy and good company have made this competition something to look forward to!
