🚨 Help Us Open the Pool! 🚨

The countdown is on to the opening of Miles Aquatic Centre on 19 September 2026, but we need your help.

Without enough staff, we may be forced to reduce operating hours. We're reaching out to our community to help us keep the doors open and the pool available for everyone to enjoy.

🌊 Interested in becoming a lifeguard?

We're hosting a Lifeguard Course in the first week of the school holidays, making it easier than ever to get qualified and join the team.

We're gearing up for another fantastic swimming season at the Miles Aquatic Centre, but we need a few more team members to help us open as planned on the 19th of September.

If you're looking for flexible, rewarding work in your local community, we'd love to hear from you!

✅ Swim Teachers
✅ Casual and flexible hours available
✅ We can help with qualifications and training costs for suitable applicants

No experience? No problem. If you're enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about helping your community, we encourage you to apply. Training and qualification support may be available to help you get started.

The planned operating hours for the upcoming season are:

📅 Monday to Friday
☀️ 6:00am - 8:00am
☀️ 10:00am - 6:00pm

📅 Saturday
☀️ 10:00am - 6:00pm

📅 Sunday
☀️ 10:00am - 6:00pm

📅 Public Holidays
☀️ 12:00pm - 5:00pm

Miles Aquatic Centre is preparing for another fantastic season, but we're urgently seeking Lifeguards and Learn to Swim Teachers to help us open the doors and keep the pool operating for our community.

The reality is that without enough qualified staff, it becomes increasingly difficult to deliver the services our community relies on. That's why we're calling on local residents to consider joining the team.
