After teaching yoga this beautiful Saturday morning, I felt inspired to pull an oracle card.

In class today we explored a theme I’ve been working with recently with my teacher, Denise Linn — becoming conscious of what we’re saying yes to in our lives, and what we’re ready to say no to. ♥️

We explored intention, alignment and tuning into the wisdom of the body, followed by a little guided Soul Journey to connect with the direction we want to move towards.

And because today is the 8/8 Lion’s Gate, I thought I’d have a little fun with an oracle card afterwards. 🦁✨

This past year has reminded me that growth isn't always loud or exciting at first. Sometimes it's learning to trust yourself a little more, honour your boundaries, follow your curiosity, and keep taking small courageous steps towards making your dreams real.

As I step into another year, my intention is simple: to live with more joy, authenticity, and wonder... and to help others reconnect with those qualities within themselves too. And to keep creating magic!

Ganesha – Clearing Away Obstacles • Protection • Guidance

Sometimes the obstacles we face aren't just external. They can be self-doubt, fear of beginning, or wondering if we're truly ready for what's next.

This card felt like a gentle reminder that we don't have to force our way forward. We simply keep taking the next step, trusting that the path becomes clearer as we walk it.

Have you ever noticed that what first seemed like an obstacle ended up leading you somewhere better?

Today started with teaching a 6 a.m. yoga flow class.

Later I decided to fill my own cup today and book a spontaneous hair appointment at a cool local salon.

While I was there, my hairdresser asked me what I do for work.

I laughed and told her there were 4 things. She was like, "How do you have time to be here right now?!" Between teaching yoga, running Pixie Moon Parties, working as a court transcriptionis Monday to Thursday, and building my Soul Coaching® business- Luna Blaze, it's a bit of a balancing act.

Talking about Soul Coaching® was actually a little stretch for me. It's still a newer part of my work, and sometimes I don't talk about it as naturally as the other things I do.

My coach, Kyla has given me a visibility challenge recently, and one of the goals is simply to have conversations about what I do.

Not a sales pitch..Just being willing to be seen.

When I explained Soul Coaching, the hairdresser smiled and said, "Sign me up — that sounds exactly like what I need!"

I think she was half joking and half serious, but it reminded me of something important:

People can't connect with what we offer if they don't know it exists.

Sometimes visibility isn't a big launch.

Sometimes it's simply answering honestly when someone asks,

"So, what do you do?"

P.S. I love my new haircut and I'm feeling very refreshed. If only I had somewhere glamorous to go tonight! 😄
