Let me set something straight...
Calorie and nutrition requirements are individual, but we have decades of research on what’s considered normal for women.
Statistically, you’re far more likely to be the average than the exception.
It’s time to stop normalising poverty calories, or treating one person’s experience as if it’s the norm.
Just because someone can survive on 1000-1200 calories doesn’t mean it’s appropriate, healthy, or evidence-based for the average woman.
Have you noticed that undereating seems to be getting normalised again?? 🤔

This is my opinion, and there will be people who disagree with it, which is completely fine.
There are so many different ways to move your body, and it’s great to see more people finding forms of exercise they genuinely enjoy.
That said, I still believe strength training is the foundation. For most people, building a solid base of strength first is one of the best investments you can make for your long-term health, fitness, and performance.
As you become more advanced, it’s completely normal (and often beneficial) to branch out into other forms of training. Whether that’s running, Pilates, CrossFit, Hyrox, hiking, team sports, martial arts, or something else, exposing your body to different movement demands can be incredibly valuable.
This doesn’t mean everyone needs to become a hybrid athlete.
But if you can squat 100kg yet get out of breath walking up a flight of stairs, or you can run a half marathon but struggle to lift a heavy box off the floor without hurting your lower back, there’s likely a physical quality that’s being neglected.
Health and fitness aren’t about being exceptional at one thing while neglecting everything else. For most people, it’s about building a well-rounded body that is strong, capable, and adaptable for life 💪
What are your thoughts? How has your training evolved?
I wish I could say this was just a joke, but it’s truly the reality too many women have experienced 🫠 Can you relate?
One day you’ll miss the body you criticised today❤️
Before becoming a Nurse, I hadn’t seen frail broken bodies.
I hadn’t witnessed cognitive decline, or watched someone lose their independence.
Since then, I’ve never looked at the human body the same way. I grew up quickly.
I’m not perfect. I still have hard days too. But this perspective has been such a gift.
On tough body image days, I remind myself that even at my lowest, having a body that functions is a privilege 🌱
So yes, keep working towards your goals.
But don’t forget to appreciate the body carrying you there ❤️
I’ve never seen someone talk about this but it’s so true...
Most women are following advice meant for someone with different goals and at a different stage of their fitness journey.
There are 9 levels every woman moves through. This quiz will tell you which one you’re at and exactly what you should focus on next.
It takes just 2 minutes to finally know what to focus on.
Most women are surprised by their result.

The hard truths no one wants to hear ⬇️
👉 Results take YEARS, not weeks or months, especially if you want them to last.
👉 Most women with that “toned” look have spent years building muscle through consistent strength training 🏋️♀️ not from hopping between random workouts.
👉 Some fitness competitors and influencers use performance-enhancing drugs, so don’t compare yourself to a highlight reel that isn’t showing you the full picture 👀
👉 Anyone chasing quick and easy usually needs the opposite. The reason they’re stuck in the yo-yo cycle is they keep reaching for whatever feels easier.
Doing the basics, unlearning old habits, and building it into your lifestyle will never sound as exciting as the 6-week shred you just scrolled past...
But the boring stuff is what actually works.
The sooner you accept that, the sooner you’ll stop starting over.
That’s exactly what we help women do inside 💜

I haven’t been able to get this off my mind. Comments like this are a reminder of how unrealistic the standards for women’s bodies have become… what do you think?
