We are back on our SPOTLIGHT SUNDAY business and today, we introduce to you our youngest member who has been working for us for 5 years- THOR ✨

Originally from New Zealand, Thor fell into ballooning after a chance conversation on an airplane that led him to learning on the job with Liberty. Trained in fixed-wing aircrafts and growing up by the beach, he developed a love for surfing, camping, and anything outdoors. A lifelong fan of bikes, cars, and planes. Thor recently earned his private pilot’s licence and is flying at every opportunity as he works toward becoming a commercial pilot.
A core member of our team and a young man we have had the privilege of watching grow up… we wish Thor the best of luck with his upcoming commercial pilot test (very soon)! 💛

Dan, Thor and Lisa are currently in the UK for The 48th annual Bristol International Balloon Fiesta. This festival is Europe’s largest hot air balloon event, it brings over 100 colorful balloons from around the world to fill the skies of Bristol twice daily for 3 days. Best of luck, Team! 🎈

To our Liberty family 🤍

After six weeks of our social media account being mistakenly deleted by Meta, and many ordeals trying to recover it, we are so happy to finally be back.

This experience reminded us just how dependent so many businesses are on social media. When it’s suddenly taken away, and it’s almost impossible to reach a real person because everything is automated, you gain a whole new appreciation for genuine human connection and compassion.

It’s also reminded us why we love what we do. In a world where it’s becoming harder and harder to tell what’s real, we know that what we do- and the people we get to share it with- grounds us in what truly matters: real experiences, real moments, and real human connection.

We are happy to be back sharing our love for Ballooning with you all again.
