Hello, race fans! Our one and only road course of the season makes it's appearance tonight as we head to the Pacific Northwest where within the city of Portland - and the historic remnants of Vanport - we find our circuit for the week here at PIR! 65 laps await the drivers which throws up a whole different flow to what the ovals have produced so far! And as we get set to turn left and right, the question at this stage of the season has to be - can anyone catch Ethan Winter, who now has a strong advantage in the points standings?
Drivers are still welcome to pre-qualify their way in via the open server (qual session starts at 7:25pm AEST) or join us live tonight thanks to the Sim Speed Esports Network broadcast!

The yard of bricks awaits us tonight, and while 500 miles is far too long of a race for us to fit into our Championship schedule we'll still see those bricks passed by at least 85 times tonight for Round 4 which works out to 212.5 miles of racing!
For drivers looking to secure an open seat for tonight's race, join the pre-qualifying server before 7:25pm AEST to be able to get a chance to set your pre-qual time and then potentially join the chartered drivers for qualifying at 7:50pm and a race start at 8pm, with live coverage flag to flag thanks to Sim Speed Esports Network!

Our first 2 mile oval of the season came with its challenges and cautions aplenty in stages 1 & 3, but after our first brush with NASCAR overtime Kody Deith made it 3 winners from 3 race starts from 3 different teams in our maiden Championship Series in the Eclipse Simsports #3 Camaro!
Stage 1 Top 10 - Broad, Phillips, Deith, Houghton, Densley, Dyson, Clayton, Kerr, Danson and Chapman
Stage 2 Top 10 - Watson, Caple, Broad, Deith, Houghton, Rankin, McClune, Kerr, Winter and Phillips
Pole Position - Scott Rankin (38.518)
Most Positions Gained - Kody Deith (+28)
Most Passes - Deith (40)
Laps Led - Broad (28), Watson (25), Kerr (14), Deith (10), Standley (7), Phillips (6), Rankin (1)
Big thanks to Sim Speed Esports Network for the broadcast (watch it back on their channels to get yourself up to speed if need be!), and eyes now turn to another large oval, though perhaps better known for its relationship with America's premier open-wheel racer rather than the NASCAR bodies we will possess - come meet us on Monday night in Speedway, Indiana for Round 4!

Well after suggesting it wouldn't be a guarantee, Kody Deith goes and gets two wins in a row last week at Nashville Superspeedway, with Ethan Winter getting his first win of the qualifying series in the other server of the week!
Standings wise, it puts Deith ahead with a gap to Zak Kerr who in turn has a similar gap to Byron Phillips, meanwhile down towards the all-important cut line at P32, every single point matters whether you might be in or out at this point - and as we get into the midway race of this qualifying series we can start to get a glimpse of what's coming, yet also still be far too early to tell!
Round 3 tonight sees the field tackle Dover Motor Speedway for a monster mile - or 200 of them! Green flags from 8pm AEST

It's not quite 400 laps and 600 miles, but after 134 laps to kick off the Qualifying Series at Charlotte, Zak Kerr and Kody Deith claim bragging rights to the first wins of the 5-week campaign! With snake splits employed to mix the groups up each week, these drivers will have to fight against slightly new fields if they want to get another win in the books next Monday night at Nashville!
Thanks to all registered drivers for signing up and showing up, with 1 drop round to be removed it's not doom and gloom for those who had a bad race, or if you wanted to get involved it's not too late to make a run for qualifying entry with a new signup!

We're now inside of 72 hours to the first green flag for OSCA, and for the 69 drivers who've put their name on the Qualifying Series roster it's time to get down to business and make a strong start in their quests to secure their Championship charter! With just 32 charters up for grabs, more than half this lineup will have to make a Championship quest on a race-by-race entry basis if they wish to stay in the action beyond this Qual Series - but the discussion on who that will be can wait another 5 weeks!
We'll see you in Charlotte on Monday night to get it all started!
