Building a professional art practice involves a lot of moving parts, and it's not always obvious which one deserves your attention first.

That's why there isn't a single starting point for every artist.

Some artists are ready for coaching. Others want to improve their website, strengthen their marketing or learn more about exhibitions, pricing or email marketing.

The Start Here Hub has been designed to make those next steps easier to navigate, bringing together the resources available through The Artists Business Lounge in one place.

Take a look through and choose the path that best fits your practice.

As your art practice evolves, the support you need often changes too.

There may be times when you're refining your website, preparing for an exhibition, building your email list, reviewing your pricing or looking for more strategic guidance. At another stage, a course, practical tool or coaching conversation may be exactly what's needed.

Professional development isn't about following a single path. It's about finding the right support for where you are now and where you want your practice to go next.

If you're wondering what that next step might be, Start Here: Your Art Business Hub is a curated collection of coaching, courses and practical resources designed to help you explore the options and choose what best fits your practice.

A marketing plan built for an imaginary week is not much use. Your real practice has to survive exhibition deadlines, paid work, family, travel, illness and days when the studio needs all of you. That may mean one substantial article instead of daily posts, a regular newsletter, and a few channels you understand. Sustainable doesn't mean unambitious. It means you can continue long enough for the work to compound.

There is a quiet cost to beginning from zero every time you market your work: finding a new topic, making another graphic, hunting for links, wondering whether any of it connects. The cost isn't only time. It's the energy spent making hundreds of small decisions that could have been made once. A simple rhythm doesn't remove creativity from marketing. It gives your creativity somewhere to go.

There isn't one model for building a successful art career.

Some artists are preparing for exhibitions. Others are refining their website, building relationships with collectors, developing a marketing plan or simply trying to work out what deserves their attention next. Priorities change as a practice evolves, and the support you need changes too.

That's why The Artists Business Lounge offers a range of coaching, courses and practical tools designed to meet artists where they are. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all path, you can choose the resource that best fits your current stage of practice and your professional goals.

If you're not sure where to begin, the Start Here: Your Art Business Hub is a curated starting point that brings together the available coaching, courses and practical resources, making it easier to decide what will be most helpful for you next.

I create tools.
Trello boards.
Courses and workbooks.
Marketing structures.
Custom GPTs that help artists write, plan, and move faster.

They are useful.

But tools are not the real reason artists join the Success System Program.

The real shift is what happens when you are not implementing alone.

Weekly conversations. Clear direction.
Someone who sees when you are overcomplicating.
Someone who asks the question you have been avoiding.

A few weeks ago, an Artist shared on the community call that she is intending to run a workshop as part of her exhibition and asked a few questions.

Today I ran a dedicated coaching session about workshops - practical considerations, decisions, options, and how they can work for artists' revenue models.
The call recording and a bonus workbook are already prepared.

The artist who asked the questions now has more clarity, and steps she can take. And the other artists on the call now have clear practical frames for their own potential workshops in the future.

Sometimes I make content; sometimes I direct people to existing content.

Often artists need structure that holds while they build.
That is what changes the outcome.

I used to worry that using the same idea in several places would feel repetitive. Now I think abandoning a useful idea after one post is the stranger choice. An article can become a newsletter. Part of the newsletter can become a social post. A question can become the next piece. It doesn't need identical wording. It needs enough time and space to do its work. That is connected marketing.

This month I finally moved a large amount of strategy and content out of my head - and various systems and files - into the Trello board where the work actually happens.
The breakthrough wasn't a more sophisticated system. It was starting with the system I already use.
The same applies to marketing: connect what you already have, remove what no longer helps, and make the next action obvious.
For me, this also represented a significant time saving I can now put back into the studio.
