HIRW 2026 - Day 7 🏆
What a way to finish the regatta! 1st in our race today and 6th overall out of 11 boats for the series.
The day started in high spirits and we were treated to a stunning spinnaker run from the Eastern Course all the way up to the Moles. The team was absolutely pumped when we crossed the line with the bullet 🥇
A massive week with an awesome crew. Couldn’t have asked for a better way to finish Hammo 2026. 🍻⛵️

HIRW 2026 - Day 6
Day 6 was magical. Sun, 16 knots and a lovely spin run to finish things off. Sad it’s all coming to an end, but very grateful to have ticked off another Hammo. 🍻
Today’s all about a few cheeky bevs, soaking up the serenity and enjoying the last bit of paradise. 🌅
HIRW 2026 | Day 5 🏝️⛵️
Hammo finally started turning it on for us today! Two windward/leewards in a beautiful 15–18 knots and plenty of sunshine ☀️
Wazza walked away with a 6th and a 2nd to keep things moving in the right direction.
Bring on the final two days of racing! 💪🔥
HIRW 2026 | Day 3 🌧️⛵️
Hammo put us through the rinse cycle again today. A hectic, rolly downhill run with the masthead up, followed by a screaming reach in the rain, hail and probably around 30 knots of breeze in the squall. 🌪️
Definitely earned the rest day tomorrow! 🍻
Then it’s back into it Thursday for a couple of windward/leewards in some more heavy breeze. 💪
HIRW 2026 Day 2 🌊💨
A lot like Day 1… windy, waves, wind against tide and plenty of bucking bronco action! 🐎🌊
Bring on tomorrow’s long race 💪⛵
HIRW 2026 - Day 1 🌊⛵
It’s going to be a wet one this year aboard the Adams 10. 20+ knots forecast, wind against tide, and Day 1 was already like riding a bucking bronco 🐎🌊
Bring on Day 2. Let’s see what she’s got! 💨
Had an absolute blast skippering Executive Decision today. ⛵️
Feeling pretty bloody blessed to get the opportunity. Great start, a solid first work and we got around the course fairly clean.
Then came the obligatory 25-knot Chinese gybe with the masthead up… 😂
Still managed to finish up the pointy end of the fleet.
Great teamwork, plenty of laughs, a few stories for the memory bank, and an absolute cracker of a winter’s day on Port Phillip Bay.
Big thanks to the crew. 🤙
Speed is there. Ex*****on isn't quite there yet. 😂⛵️
Upwind and downwind pace felt good today, but the boat handling gave me plenty of homework.
Two wing-mark capsizes, one on the reach, and a stack of stalled tacks. Not exactly the cleanest scorecard! 💥
Back to the drawing board. Plenty to work on, but hopefully it won't be long before the speed and handling start coming together for a full race. 🔥
Winter Series racing at Mordialloc Sailing Club 🏁⛵️
Two starts from the day and pretty stoked with how they went. Clean off the line, clear air, good speed and straight into race mode. 💨
Now to keep building from here! 🔥
⚡ Slowly but surely... starting to hook it all together.
Today's session was dedicated to tacking and getting comfortable with the new tack sticks. Every clean tack feels like a small win, and every capsize is just another lesson. 💪🌊
Here's what today's session looked like. ⛵
