Unfortunately couldn't get the triple-headed setup we were chasing, but the double-headed combo still delivered. π J2 + genoa staysail + a screaming reach to Mornington. Hard to complain! ππ¨β΅
The forecast was throwing around 20 to 30 knots π¬οΈ, so I decided not to wrestle the Contender today.
Instead, I jumped aboard X41 Quixotic for a fast ride around the course at royals. For something called Wednesday Afternoon Gentlemen Sailing, it was anything but gentlemanly! π
Big breeze, plenty of spray, and another reminder that windy days are often the most fun. π¨β΅π€

Just two boats, a couple of marks, and a windward/leeward course. Simple sailing, but some of the best learning. π¨
Smashed out a handful of laps, played with different centreboard rake settings upwind, had a couple of swims ππ, and walked away with a much better understanding of what's fast and what still needs work.
Another step forward. Plenty to test next time. πβ΅οΈπ₯
