Good morning everyone!

Attached is the draw for Game Week 4 of FCVA

Make sure to double check both what time you play and what time you duty.

Additionally we wanted to clarify why our senior teams have extra duties in comparison to last season. As we have removed juniors from the duty roster, this means that our senior teams have to referee the first senior game each night. With this being the case each team should have 3 duties in a row before having a night off duty. If you notice your team ends up with more than 3 back to back, let us know and we will work on fixing that for you 😁

We also wanted to remind this week, if players and duty officials can make sure team member names are written on the score sheet prior to the match as we are trying to prevent unpaid players from participating in games to ensure fairness for our players. We would also appreciate if you could come prepared this week with your VQID number to give to our vice president to make sure all players are registered.

Hi all,

There will be no Woman’s training tonight due to coach unavailability. We will be posting the team list for the Woman’s RVL sometime tonight!!!

Good Morning everyone!

Apologies for the delay in draw release it was very tough choosing divisions for each team.

We are so excited to have enough players to expand across two divisions of play!

Attached you will see team lists for Div 1, Div 2 and Juniors division as well as this first weeks draw.

As always if you spot any mistakes, can’t see your name or unhappy with your team please feel free to reach out to either the email or the page😁

Last couple of reminders are as follows:

Duty: as always please remember to turn up for your duty, as you will see in the bylaws that will hopefully be posted today, a team requires a minimum of 3 duty officials. This includes a first and second referee as well as the scoreboard.

Just like last season we will be filling out the scores on the scoresheet to help keep track on our leaderboard

Social: while we are very excited to have two divisions this season, this competition is currently mainly social. Please always be respectful to your team mates, the opposition and most importantly the referees. A lot of players will be refereeing for the very first time.

Good morning everyone!

We are so excited for our first round of games tonight! To prepare for tonight we just have a couple of reminders:

Games: Tonight's games across Juniors and Seniors are all considered scratch games so we can assess skills ready for divisions and to accomodate the players and staff away at Senior Schools Cup.

New Players: Since uploading our team lists we have had some additional sign ups. If you have signed up and cannot see your name on the team lists, we will find you a spot on a team tonight ready for official games to begin next week.

Duty: As we have a lot of players away this week we recommend as many people attending their duty tonight as possible as it is likely some players will be asked to fill in for an extra game!

Basketball: Final reminder is that these first few weeks take place after basketball finishes at 5:30. Double check your game start times as all games now begin at quarter to as opposed to half past.
