Rapture Arts - Pole Fitness Studio Margaret RIver Rapture Arts is Margaret Rivers First Pole Dance Studio established in 2018, as well as Pole Fitness, we also teach burlesque, circus and toddler gymnastics.

Opening in January 2018 we had a blast bringing this fun new style of fitness to the area, whilst also performing fire shows and running Burlesque courses, circu

s and toddler gymnastics as well as the odd aerial workshop. Rapture Arts focuses on the beginning, where to start, and how to grow and constantly achieve, ensuring that these almost fantasy arts of Pole Fitness and Burlesque are not out of reach. This led to our Book " The First Steps " and our Training Planner "Personal Pole and Aerial Record", to help you really understand and get the best foundations for your pole journey ahead. We also have a book "Act Creation" to assist you in the journey to performing pole or burlesque. Our pole fitness classes run in a low-tox studio, once a week for 6 weeks, each session being 1 hour and 15 min long. Our classes follow a pole fitness curriculum with a focus on fundamentals, this helps us progress at a manageable rate, meaning that there is no prior strength/flexibility/experience necessary. - that all comes with it as you go! You will notice the difference in your strength and technique faster than you think! So feel free to join us on this adventure, after all, life is an adventure!

RIP jamilla deville. I still have the dvds from the days when they were pretty much it for developing beyond the local studios. (I believe i have bobbis too!) A founder of the industry whose loss will be felt by oh so many.

A meta-analysis of 218 trials found it provides larger reductions in symptoms than walking, strength training, or antidepressants alone.
Dance simultaneously releases serotonin, dopamine, and oxytocin while lowering cortisol. When performed in groups, it creates interbrain synchrony that strengthens social bonds. Researchers are now advocating for dance to be considered a front-line treatment for depression.

So we are closed this week? Why? I am in the Gold Coast for the national underwater hockey championships. I’m here looking after the under 19 team while our daughter completes in the under 15 development squad. What an experience to have at 12! It’s been great so far with more fun to be had. We will be back next week! X
