Last weekend our kids team attended the Our Lady of the Angels school Fiesta where they performed self defence Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai for hundreds of spectators 👏👏👏

What an amazing day for our team! Showcasing their skills in front of hundreds of people and inspiring more kids and parents to practice martial arts. We are so proud of all the kids that performed, 10/10 demonstrations for 30 straight minutes 🙌🏽

Disclaimer: We do not practice mandatory belt gauntlet ceremonies. Aaron asked if he could walk the gauntlet, which we agreed to.

The gauntlet is an old tradition for belt promotions where the practitioner walks up and down while their teammates give them a light belt tap on the back.

We do not practice this at all for anyone under 18 years old.
