Thanks to the generous support of Fortescue, the Karratha Water Polo Association, supported by Water Polo Western Australia, will be running a Junior Water Polo Development Program during the upcoming school holidays!
This is a great opportunity for our junior members to develop their knowledge, understanding and skills while having fun in the pool.

🤽 What will we cover?
* Develop your water polo knowledge, understanding and skills
* Individual and team training drills
* 6-on-6 match play and tactics
* Extra-man attack and defence
* Rules and gameplay

📅 Dates: 5 October – 9 October 2026
⏰ Time: 2:30pm – 4:00pm each day
👧🧑 Ages: 10–17 years

The program is suitable for Mini Marlin and Junior players who are keen to further develop their water polo skills and take their game to the next level.

🏊‍♀️ Coaching Development
Coaching development will also be running during the program for those interested in developing their skills beyond the pool.

Karratha Water Polo - October 2026 School Holiday Training Camp State governing body for Water Polo in WA

💙 Flippa Ball, Mini Marlin & Juniors - 2026-27 🤽‍♀️🤽‍♂️

Registrations open September
Season commences Tuesday 13th October.

For those players new to Flippa Ball and Water Polo, our first session on 13th October will be a Come n Try and open to all children. A good opportunity to see which program will suit your child.

Flippa Ball (8 - 11yrs) - 11 week program across Term 4 & Term 1 on Tuesday's 4.30-5.15pm. Modified rules and played in a smaller field.

Mini Marlins (Under 14s) - Played during Term 4 & Term 1, Training Tuesday 5-6pm, Games Thursday 5-5.45pm. Designed to further develop water polo skills gained in Flippa Ball while introducing players to a larger field and structured games. Recommended for experienced Flippa Ball players or confident swimmers aged over 10yrs.

Juniors (15 - 18yrs) Term 4 & Term 1, Training Tuesday 5-6pm, Juniors play in the senior B grade competition on Thursday evenings (Girls 6pm & Boys 6.30pm)

Mini Marlin & Junior October 2026 School Holiday Training Camp

1.5hrs training each day (5 days) – skills, drills and experienced coaches.

Monday 5th October – Friday 9th October 2026
2.30pm – 4pm
Ages 10yrs – 17yrs

Location : Karratha Leisureplex.

Suitable for Mini Marlin and Junior players who want to develop their Waterpolo skills. 🤽‍♀️🤽‍♂️💙

The AGM is an important opportunity for members to reflect on the past season, discuss the future direction of the Association, and participate in the election of the committee for the upcoming 2026/27 season.

Please note that all 2025/26 season committee positions will be declared vacant at the meeting.

We welcome and encourage all members to attend, particularly any new and enthusiastic members who may be interested in joining the committee for the 2026/27 season. Becoming involved is a great way to support and strengthen our local water polo community.

We look forward to seeing you there and thank all members for their ongoing support of KWPA.
