Congratulations Chase Myrers on your first fight win at Newcastle last night. Whist Chase won by a unanimous decision his opponent Daeden Cooper put on a great display of boxing pushing Chase all the way. Well done mate. Phil, Steve and I are very proud of you. Hopefully Chase will be fighting on the 5th of September at Raymond Terrace Bowling Club

What a great morning of sparring and mate ship this morning at the HNTG Boxing gym. Boxers from Karuah, Nelson Bay, Wingham, Taree coming together for some
Solid rounds. It would be hard to find a better group of young men than those here today. Thanks Steve for refereeing all of the rounds and the coaches that give up their Saturday Morning for benefit of their boxers. Our very own Chase Myers putting in 6 solid rounds.

It’s on. Saturday the 13th of December. HN&TG boxing Club is holding a sparring day with boxers coming from all over. All clubs welcome. Any of our young locals interested in boxing are welcome come and have a look.

As the year rapidly disappears it is a good time to thanks the Bulahdelah Bowling Club from the bottom of our hearts for providing their bus at no cost to transport our young boxers from bulahdelah to the HN&TG Boxing Club. The bus is often full to capacity which is great. They are a fantastic group and we love having them as a part of our club. Of course the bus would be no good with out our star volunteer Miss Mostyn who drives it every week without fail. Thank you to everyone that make this possible
