The little stock rod/piston LS1 that ive pushed a little too far in SLAKO with a PB of 104.1mph is out and off to WARSPEED for a freshen up before I break it (a couple of 7600rpms it's seen)
To finish out the 85mph Championship, it will get our fresh built 600+hp 366ci MACCAS PERFORMANCE ENGINE 6ltr that we had built for my wife's vk.

Massive thankyou to Vintage & Veteran and dargle for a great event yesterday.
it was an absolute wild ride running on an untested prop in race conditions. we got the chance to race in the Rod "hotty" Crowe handicap race 95mph coming away with 2nd place which I am very happy with. Greatday racing with a very close call on the second corner.

UHPBC Round 5 Slako took Round win.
I love this little boat, We were told it would be near impossible to get it to turn as stephens just weren't known for turning well. with the help Childsplay Marine a fair few months ago we sorted this thing... it's still a massive handful to keep in the water but it's the best fun I've had in a long time and I can't thank everyone enough who has helped from the day I started this adventure in my shed, You all know who you all are THANKYOU. video attached is qualifying for handicap race times. After learning the boat in 85mph class this championship year, we will be joining the 105mph class in sept for the last championship year allowed without a cell.

Round 4 Club day was a success, we trialed some new pipes I made up for slako which performed much better over the old "wheelbarrow" pipes.
Started last place in the second heat (handicap race) and fought my way up to 2nd only to break time again..
still walked away with 2nd overall for the day which I'm still happy with. Great day racing

A couple of people have asked why I put a LS in Slako. here's why
I purchased it off a family friend, it was garaged for well over 20yrs unfortunately the 350 had water in 2 cylinders due to a hurt head gasket. I did put a built 305 in it for a while but it just wasn't fast enough to even run in the 85mph class. the LS conversion started (I already had the built motor) everything was rebuilt or replaced new. from wiring/gearbox/steering the lot. A few pics of the changeover.
