We are incredibly proud of what our players have achieved this season.

Our journey in the SPL has always been about development, intensity, discipline and preparing players to compete at a higher level. Results aren’t the be-all and end-all at these ages, but they are a reflection of the progress being made.

To finish three age groups in the Top 3 and all four teams inside the Top 4 is something we are extremely proud about.

The improvement from where we started to where we are today has been massive. Our players are developing a better understanding of their roles, making quicker decisions, competing with greater intensity and learning what is required in a strong competitive environment.

Most importantly, we genuinely care about every player who represents our academy and will continue pushing them to become better footballers.

Another massive week for our U10s and U11s squads, with both teams producing outstanding results against strong academies.

The growth and development within these groups has been incredible to watch. We have driven the boys to keep delivering more consistent performances each week, the progress has been second to none.

The journey hasn’t been easy, but the hard work, resilience, and commitment from the players continues to shine through every matchday. Proud of the way these teams keep building week after week.

SPL 2026 – EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST NOW OPEN ⚽️

We are now seeking committed, high-level players for SPL 2026 across the U9 – U12 age groups.

This program is designed for ambitious and elite-level players currently competing in JDL and advanced development environments who are looking to further elevate their game in a professional, high-performance setting.

How often do you see APIA Leichhardt FC down to Greystanes for a friendly? 👀

At Fuego Football Academy, we only work with the best—and this was another great test for our group. In a tightly contested match, we were ultimately defeated, but the result only tells part of the story.

The biggest win came in our Under 12s performance. We had four Under 11s step up and deliver strong performances, and even gave debuts to two Under 9s who didn’t look out of place at all. That’s what real development looks like.

The Fuego Falcons U12s have made an impressive start to Season 1 of the Sydney Premier League, consistently showing growth, resilience, and quality against some of Sydneys best football players. Competing in an academy-level environment, the boys have embraced the challenge.

The month of March saw our 12s team compete against some of the best academies in Sydney.

The Sydney Premier League provides a unique platform, bringing together a mix of players and exposing them to a higher standard of football beyond traditional park competitions. This experience has accelerated the Falcons’ development, both individually and as a team.

Through the support of Fuego Football Academy these players are being given the opportunity to test themselves at the highest level, building confidence, improving their game understanding.
