🏁 TTR Racing 2026/2027 Season 🏁

The new season is almost here and TTR Racing is ready to hit the dirt! We’ve got a huge calendar ahead, racing across Queensland and NSW at some track's that have been on the wish list, with plenty of big meetings along the way.

Team TTR headed up to Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway on Saturday via the scenic way, visiting our favourite little towns along the way. Stoping at Kyogle - Dave’s Bakery for Breakfast and walked through the markets coming away with some Nik naks. Chugged up the mountain to Legume and had a break before stopping at Killarney where we added to our iron collection with an old 1700 Scottish iron and a 1970 travelling iron. We left there and travelled through Warwick hitting Toowoomba speedway and hour before start time.

We unloaded the Mean Machine and caught up with a few drivers and Shaq who shared his Chico roll before heading onto the track for our first run.

We blew out a few cobwebs on a slippery track, just getting the feel for the car and track.

The second run was better with the track slightly faster but I felt it was lacking off the turns. I went back to the pits and consulted with the crew. Big Red said go hard or go home. So I changed one thing slightly and headed back out for the 3rd run. Where she felt a lot better.
Practice 4 saw even more improvement in the car and driver.

It was great to practice against Bruce Marshall as it is a good bench mark as he sets a fast pace and is a top competitor. Bruce set a new lap record in practise 5 in which we didn’t go out in as we wanted to head out and get down the road to set up camp for the night.

We found a great spot to camp at Applethorpe where we had some Ham and Cheese toasties before hitting the sack ready for the drive down the range in the morning.

It was great to get out racing again building up confidence with the new car and getting some seat time. Now with a bit of a break before racing starts which will give me time to stop eating pies and cakes and eat more hotdogs.

See you on a track somewhere, you never know what track Team TTR will role into next.
