GRAND FINAL BOUND! 🟣⚫️

Our Grafton United U14s have booked their place in the Grand Final after an outstanding 3–1 preliminary-final victory over Majos FC!

Calan Dunston opened the scoring from the penalty spot, keeping his composure under pressure and confidently putting the ball past the goalkeeper.

Henry Hamilton then produced one of the moments of the match with an unbelievable free kick. From well outside the box, Henry struck the ball brilliantly and sent it beyond the keeper to give Grafton United a crucial second goal.

Maxi Coorey completed the scoring with a beautiful individual effort. Maxi took the ball past the defender, rounded him with great control and composure, and then calmly slotted his finish past the goalkeeper to seal the 3–1 victory.

It was a fantastic team performance from the entire squad. The boys worked incredibly hard for one another, defended with determination and showed real quality when their chances arrived. After a brilliant preliminary-final performance, they have earned the opportunity to play for the title.

Grafton United will now face the Yamba Breakers in the U14s Grand Final in Yamba next Saturday, 19 September.
