🏆 2026 U14 DIVISION 1 QUEENSLAND STATE CHAMPIONS 🏆

What a season.

These girls started this journey back in November and to see them finish as Queensland State Champions is something I’m proud to have been part of.

The results last weekend were no accident. They trained with purpose all season and many of the girls chose to attend my early morning group sessions before school, on top of their team trainings. Their commitment to improving every week is what set them apart.

As an assistant coach, it was a privilege to work alongside Jo and Bundy and be part of this team’s journey. Watching this group grow throughout the season was incredibly rewarding and every player played an important role in this achievement. A huge thank you to Jo, Bundy, our amazing team manager Amber and all of our families for your endless support and commitment. This achievement belongs to all of you as well.

A big thank you to every team we played throughout the season. It was fantastic to watch so many teams improve as the season went on. The standard of competition kept pushing us to be better and we’re grateful for every challenge along the way.

A special congratulations to my daughter, Havana, on being named Grand Final MVP. I’m proud of the work she puts in behind the scenes. She never complains, never says no to the extra sessions and is always willing to learn and get better. It’s a privilege to coach her and watch her continue to grow. A well-deserved reward for all the hard work she’s put in throughout the season.

Next stop… the Basketball Australia U14 Club Championships in Perth this September. Time to keep working 💪🏽🏀

Wrapped up the final session of our 4 week Skillz Up block with Bayside Basketball Club last night.
Really appreciate the opportunity to work with this great group of U12s. It’s been awesome watching their confidence and skills improve each week.
