The Evolution of my Coaching. ⚒️

Real Talk: Most coaches stay stagnant. I choose to evolve.

I’m moving my deep-dive scientific content, my injury reconstruction protocols, and my raw training data over to my new official page:

Real Talk Iron Tim

This isn't just a name change. It’s a commitment to a higher standard of coaching.

• 25+ years of experience from the boxing ring to the lab.

• Evidence-based protocols for hypertrophy and elite strength.

• Real-world data on rebuilding after a shattered leg and AFib.

If you want the science behind the sweat and the truth behind the "highlight reels," you need to be over there.

I’ll see you in the lab. 🧬

95% of lifters stay exactly the same because they treat rest like a weakness. ⚠️

Stop just grinding and actually start growing.

After 25 years, I see the same mistake every day: people "out-working" their own results.

You are a biological system, not a machine.

The gym is the stimulus. Recovery is the adaptation.

If you are training at 100% but recovering at 40%, you aren't "hardcore"—you're just inefficient. You’re redlining an engine with no oil.

When your sleep is trash, your nutrition is guesswork, and your rest days are non-existent, you aren't building a physique. You are simply accumulating systemic fatigue and hormonal burnout.

Real progress requires a scientific balance:

âś… Stimulus: Strategic mechanical tension
âś… Substrate: Precision-targeted nutrition
âś… System Reset: Neurological recovery via sleep
âś… Adaptation: Cellular repair through rest

After two and a half decades in this industry, I can tell you the "more is better" cult is wrong.

Biology doesn't care about your "grind." It cares about recovery.

Be honest—is your recovery actually on par with your training? 🤔

Not every day you look peeled.
Not every session feels strong.

Some days you feel flat.
Some days you look average.
Some days you don’t want to train at all.

That’s normal.

What’s not normal is quitting because of it.

Most people only train when they feel motivated…
That’s why they never get results.

After 25 years, I can tell you this —
the physique comes from the days you didn’t feel like doing it…
and did it anyway.

No perfect lighting.
No pump.
No excuses.

Just consistency.

That’s the difference.

Be honest —
do you train based on how you feel, or do you stick to the plan? 🤔

95% of people in the gym aren’t training hard enough ✅️

They feel a bit of burn…
and they stop.

They think they hit failure.

They didn’t.

I’ve seen it over and over.

I tell a client:
RPE 9 — 1 rep from failure.

They stop.
I tell them to keep going…

They push out another 5–10 reps.

That’s the difference.

Then I ask why they stopped?

“Saving energy for the next exercise.”

That’s the problem.

You don’t grow from saving energy.
You grow from forcing adaptation.

And you don’t need 2–3 hour sessions either.

45 minutes of real intensity is more than enough.

Most long workouts are just:
– Junk volume
– Long rests on the phone
– Low effort

One properly executed, near-failure session —
using real overload methods —
will beat hours of average training every time.

Be honest — how long are your workouts? 🤔

You don’t need 6 exercises for biceps 💪

You need 2 - done properly.

Barbell curls.
Hammer curls.

That’s your foundation.

Do them after your back workout when the biceps are already warmed up.

6 total working sets. (3 working sets of each)

Controlled reps
3–5 second eccentrics
Full stretch
Hard contraction.

RPE 9-10

Occasionally rotate in movements like incline curls or spider curls -
but your bread and butter stays the same.

Most people don’t have a biceps problem,
they have an ex*****on problem.

Stop chasing variety.
Start training properly.

Be honest — are you controlling the weight or just swinging it? 🤔

60kg x 12 đź’Ą

This is what proper training looks like.

Controlled.
Strong.
Consistent.

Most people don’t train hard enough —
and wonder why nothing changes.

I don’t guess. I structure everything.

The reason you’re not making progress isn’t your program.

It’s you changing it every 2 weeks.

New split.
New exercises.
New plan.
Same results.

Stop looking for a “better” program and start sticking to one long enough for it to actually work.

Progress is boring. It looks like:

– Repeating the same movements
– Adding 5lbs to the bar
– Tracking every set properly

Most people stay the same for years because they’re addicted to starting over.

I help my clients break that cycle and actually progress.

Quality > Quantity. Always. 🏋️‍♂️

After 25 years in the trenches, the biggest mistake I see is junk volume.

Most of your workout is a waste of time.

You’re doing 20 sets because your first 5 weren’t hard enough.

Lose the junk volume.
Find the intensity.

6–8 hard sets is all it takes to trigger growth.

If you can do more, you’re not training hard enough or applying correct overload methods.

That’s the difference between training and just looking busy.

How many sets are you actually doing per muscle group? 🤔

Be honest.

You don’t need big incline or decline angles.

Most people go too extreme with their setup.

Big incline = more shoulders
Big decline = less control

A slight angle is all you need.

More tension on the chest
More control
Less stress on the shoulders and joints

Then actually train it properly — controlled reps, full range, and push it with a drop set to finish.

That’s where the results come from.

Not extreme setups…
and not genetics.

Small details like this are what most people miss.

This isn’t built in 8 weeks. ⚠️

Not 12 weeks.
Not some “challenge”.

This is over years of training, discipline, and doing things properly.

Most people will never look like this.

Not because they can’t —
Because they won’t stay consistent long enough.

They jump program to program…
Diet to diet…
Looking for shortcuts that don’t exist.

That’s why they stay the same.

I can’t give you 25 years overnight —

But I can give you the structure, accountability, and system that actually works. 🎯

And in 90 days, you’ll be ahead of 95% of people.

No guesswork. No excuses. Just results. đź’Ż
