It wasn’t meant to be in today’s Grand Final going down 3-1, but we couldn’t have asked for much more from the Ladies.

They played their hearts out, kept competing and never gave up right until the final whistle.

Of course, it hurts to fall just short on the biggest day, but that doesn’t take away from what this group has achieved this season, most playing through injuries & sickness just to turn up for their teammate. We couldn’t be more proud.

A massive thank you to everyone who got behind the girls today and throughout the season. Seeing so many people there supporting our Women’s team on the biggest day of the year meant plenty to the girls and the club.

Special Mention to our player of the grand final - Mell, who had an epic game controlling things at the back.

Congratulations, ladies! What a season in the black, white and orange! 🖤🤍🧡

🖤🧡 GRAND FINAL — LET'S GET BEHIND OUR WOMEN! 🧡🖤

This Sunday isn't just about a Grand Final... it's a chance to show our support for women's football in the Macleay.

Our Lower Macleay Ladies have put in the work all season. They've trained, travelled, played through the knocks, turned up for each other week after week and now they've earned the opportunity to represent our little club on Grand Final Day. 🏆

Women's football continues to grow, but that growth only happens when people turn up and support it.

So this Sunday, let's turn up.

4 games in 1 Location from 10am to get you excited, with the Brumbies kicking off at 1130am.

Bring the family. Bring the kids. Wear your black and orange. Make some noise and give these girls the sort of Grand Final crowd they deserve.

And whether you're a Brumbies supporter, a friend or family member, or simply someone who wants to see women's football continue to grow in our area... get to Dixie Park and support it.

LOWIES WOMEN 🖤🧡🤍

GRAND FINAL BOUND! 🔥

The Lowies women put in the hard yards today, coming away with a brilliant 3–0 win over the South West Rocks Jets.

Three cracking goals from three different players, with Dolly, Alyra and Sarahn all finding the back of the net

The girls might not have realised they had it in them on a warm spring-like day, but a halftime rescue mission from the coach with ice-cold rags helped get everyone through 🧊🥵

What a performance from the whole squad. Everyone played their part, worked for each other, and earned their spot in next week’s decider.
