If your child was born on or before 30 April 2020, they’re eligible to take the next exciting step in their football journey!

The FREE 4-week Junior Footy – Under 9s Program is the perfect introduction to junior football. Players will experience modified Under 9s rules and game-day conditions, helping build their confidence and skills before joining the AFL Barwon Under 9 competition next season.

✨OUR LITTLE STARS HAVE FINISHED THEIR AUSKICK PROGRAM! ✨

Today marks the end of our Auskick program for 2026, and we couldn’t be prouder of every single one of our little football stars!

Over the past few weeks we’ve watched these superstars grow in confidence, learn new skills, make new friends and most importantly, have so much fun.

A huge thank you to all of our Auskick families for bringing the kids along each week and supporting them, and to our senior club, Corio Community Sports Club for taking the lead and running this program, and our coaches and volunteers who generously gave up their time to make the program such a success. We simply couldn’t do it without you.

To our little Auskickers – we are so proud of you all! We hope this is just the beginning of your football journey, and we can’t wait to see many of you running around in Northern Stars colours in the years to come.

Well done, superstars! 🌟💜

✨✨ OUR LITTLEST STARS DOING THE GUARD OF HONOUR FOR THE GEELONG CATS ✨✨

Northern Stars would like to say a huge thank you to Love the Game, Not the Odds for making experiences like this possible. Their message is simple but so important – sport should be about our kids, having fun, staying active and creating positive sporting environments free from gambling influence.

Love the Game, Not the Odds is about putting the love of sport back where it belongs – with our players, families and communities. It’s something we can all get behind, and we encourage everyone to support the message and help create the best possible sporting experience for our young people.

We’re so incredibly proud of our little stars and grateful for opportunities like this. These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do.

⭐ OUR LITTLE NORTHERN STAR SHINING BRIGHT! ⭐

What an incredible night for our little Auskicker, Flynn !

Flynn had the honour of representing Northern Stars at tonight’s Geelong Cats vs St Kilda AFL match, as a junior mascot thanks to Love the Game Not The Odds , joining along side him was 19 other Auskickers in the Guard of Honour as the Cats ran onto the ground.

To be able to stand on an AFL field, watch the players up close and be part of such a special experience is something these kids will remember forever. Moments like this are exactly why we love junior football – it’s about fun, friendships, opportunities and creating lifelong memories.
So thank you again love the game not the odds for this amazing opportunity !!!!

We were also lucky enough to have some of our bigger Northern Stars kids there tonight supporting Flynn and the Auskickers. Seeing our older players encouraging and celebrating our youngest members is what being a Northern Star is all about. One club, one family.

💙 READ THE PLAY ROUND 2026 💙

This Sunday, Northern Stars FC proudly supports the Read the Play Round – a reminder that sport is about more than just the game.

Read the Play is a mental health literacy program that helps young people, parents, coaches and volunteers recognise when someone may be struggling and how to connect them with support.

As a club, we’re committed to creating a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where every player feels valued both on and off the field. Sometimes the most important thing we can do is check in with a teammate, friend, or family member and simply ask, “Are you okay?”

A huge thank you to the organisers for allowing our U14s the opportunity to participate despite there not being an Under 16 competition this year. Our players will be competing for the MVP Medal and enjoying all the experiences that make this round so special.
