Another big Sunday of Melbourne Marathon training! 💪

We had the 5:30am crew, 6am crew and 7am crew hitting the path, getting the kilometres in and putting in some great running as marathon prep ramps up. 🔥

Plenty of solid kilometres, good chats and even better company. 👊

🏃‍♀️💨 Chase the Pace at Belvedere parkrun! 💨🏃‍♂️

The FRC crew were out in force this morning, taking on pacer duties and helping everyone chase down their goals! 🔥🙌

A huge congratulations to David on his 50th parkrun — what a milestone! 🎉👏

Our Sydney Marathon trio also enjoyed a beautiful sunny morning for their final shake-out parkrun before the big day tomorrow. ☀️🏅

Good luck to the trio — the hard work is done, now it’s time to enjoy the marathon! 💙🩷

🌅 Sunday Runday at Seaford Wetlands! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

What a stunning morning to hit the wetlands, with an absolute cracker of a sunrise setting the scene! 🌄 A solid crew took on mixed distances as Melbourne Marathon training kicks into gear. 💪

A big FRC welcome to two new members joining us for their first Sunday run! 👋💙🩷

And it wasn’t just running this weekend… we also held our annual Bunnings BBQ! 🌭🔥 Huge thanks to everyone who came along, cooked, served, packed up and helped make it happen. We couldn’t do it without you! 🙌

🌦️ Saturday mornings at Belvedere! 🏃‍♀️💙🩷

A little drizzle, plenty of overcast skies but the FRC crew still brought the vibes! 🙌

We put Steph through her final preparations for the walk down the aisle next week 💍👰‍♀️🏃‍♀️ — because obviously a wedding requires some parkrun training! 😂

The team once again stepped up and filled the volunteer roster 💪 while some of the FRC crew headed off to other parkrun venues and got their tourist badges on! 🌏🏃‍♀️

Sunday was event day and we hit the trails at Devilbend Reservoir! 🏃‍♀️🌿

The trails were muddy, the weather was absolutely perfect and the crew brought all the good vibes! 🙌

👟 Some first-time trail runners took on the challenge
😈 Cindy was in full Devil mode
🏆 Hieke & Sarah took out age-grade podiums
🥈 Katie smashed her age group and finished 2nd overall female
👟 Peyton took on the Kids Mile
🔥 Ben was keeping things interesting with Fireball shots at the halfway turnaround 😂
📣 And a huge shoutout to Sally, Sam & Abby for the awesome support!

🎉 Milestones all round at Belvedere parkrun! 🎉

A big celebration today as Mark clocked up his 50th parkrun AND 50 volunteer credits! 🥳🙌 What a milestone — congratulations, Mark! 💙🩷

Huge congrats to Debbie on her 100th volunteer credit — an amazing contribution to the parkrun community! 👏

And a high five to Aurelie on her 25th parkrun! 🏃‍♀️🎉

And of course, no celebration is complete without cake! 🎂 Beth’s delicious creation was the perfect way to finish off a fantastic morning.

Sunday Runday 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Although we were promised no rain, the 6am early starters had other ideas thrown at them! 🌧️ A refreshing shower made the path towards Mordi a little muddy and slippery… but hey, it just adds to the fun! 😜

Some great running and plenty of kms banked, with the marathon training crew continuing to put in the work. 💪🏃‍♀️ And a big shoutout to some of the crew taking on the Berwick Half Marathon today — great running! 👏🔥

We finished the morning the best way possible — warm coffee, Freddies and good company. ☕️🍫❤️

The vibes were high, the running was rippa and there were some cracking PBs on show! 🔥🙌

As always, FRC brought the numbers to the volunteer crew, keeping things running smoothly from start to finish. 💪

And a special shoutout to Mark, who saved the day with his sharp eyes and eagle-eye spotting of Kieran’s missing keys! 🔑😂

The sunshine was out and so was the crew for another stunning Sunday long run! ☀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Today’s run took us from Frankston to Carrum, with the bayside path putting on a show and plenty of good chats helping the kilometres fly by. The perfect reward? Coffee and catch-ups at One Pear Tree. ☕️

Melbourne Marathon training is well and truly in full swing, with the crew steadily ticking off the longer runs and putting in the work that counts. Every kilometre is another step towards race day!

A crisp winter morning with plenty of sunshine made for another great Saturday at Belvedere parkrun. ☀️❄️

Our crew was so busy on volunteer duties this morning that we completely missed getting the usual group photo—but that’s a pretty good problem to have! A huge thank you to everyone who gave up their run (or part of it) to help make parkrun happen.

A special congratulations to Ash on reaching an incredible 100 parkruns! 💯👏 A fantastic milestone and one to be proud of.
