Over the past few years, a significant part of my time has been dedicated to community work. Youth sport, mentoring and creative workshops — different settings, but with a shared goal of creating opportunities, building confidence and empowering young people.
One of those roles is facilitating The Big Issue Street Soccer program at Casey Fields each week, so it was a nice alignment to be part of their 30th Anniversary edition and sit down with my homie Briggs to chat about community, music and the arts.
