1 week ago we ran the PRO Stock nationals at willowbank raceway. With a smaller field entry it was an odd sight to see only 6 cars on raceday. With a 6 car field it gave me a bye run in the 1st round as we were 2nd qualifer. For a e/t based qualifying order, its weird to be 2nd with a 12.29 pass usually thats way down the list. Very late start made dial ins hard for those who had an opponent. Seen a couple of breakouts but as said before a bye run was our lucky charm. Onto the semi final, we were up against Cody Leahy in the red mustang. 12.35 v 12.45 was going to be a tight race. Insert that feeling of sleeping through your work alarm and panic sets in. .3 on the tree made it very hard work to catch cody and that forced me to drive hard all the way to the stripe and that forces a breakout. 12.29 on a 12.35 is the result. Anyways thats racing. Car was still able to be driven home which is always the plus. Cable tie done its job on the selector cable.
Good to see Ian Mango Nielsen send his white stallion in the 10.8s and take the top spot for the fastest N/A car. Dam that thing leaves the line hard.

Pro Stock Nationals Qualifying done. Started off with a gearbox cable bush breaking and not having any gears. A great big thanks to Merchant Family Racing and ProFile Autosports + Tuning for their knowledge on fixing this issue. . Now shifting gears with a feather to get us through the weekend. On a positve note we went .012 off beating our pb. Late start today on track at 4:40pm. Hopefully the R word has moved away.
