Safeguard Self Defence

Fantastic day out today with a roadtrip over to Horsham Allied Martial Arts to deliver a women's self self defence seminar.

Michelle Medlicott and I worked with a fun group of ladies delivering every day safety, prevention and awareness information as well as a range of physical self defence techniques. Afterwards, the general feedback from all the ladies was how empowered they felt and how achieveable protecting themselves could be.

This afternoon this lovely group of mums and daughters completed their 2-week basic self defence course.

Over the last 2 Saturdays, we have covered personal protection and situational awareness in a range of every day scenarios, general safety tips as well as lots of different physical self defence techniques from standing attacks and defending from the ground.

The one thing I heard many times from these mums was 'all girls should do this course'.

In today's world, everyine should know basic information on how to prevent and avoid danger as well as how to escape and deal with attacks if needed.

Its a real privilege to do private sessions like this where the sessions can be specifically tailored to the needs of the group.
