A proud moment for the Chillax family as Chillax FC 2.0 were crowned Champions, while Chillax FC secured 2nd runner-up, a true reflection of one club, one family, one community.

A heartfelt thank you to RII-DUM Club for organizing such a wonderful tournament and bringing our Nepalese community together to honor the memory of Arjun Dai. Thank you as well for your cooperation in accommodating our last-minute injured player replacement.
Congratulations to Northern Nepalese Tigers on a fantastic Runner-Up finish and to every team that made the tournament competitive and memorable. 👏

Our journey with Fuda Restaurant began during our previous tournament when Diwas Dai kindly supported our team by providing delicious momos for the players. During that time, some of our players had the opportunity to visit the restaurant, enjoy the food, and share the story of Chillax Football Club with him. After learning about our club and the players, Diwas Dai immediately expressed his willingness to support the team by providing snacks on match days.

His kindness and readiness to help without hesitation truly touched us. Since that tournament, Diwas Dai has continued to support our players, and for our upcoming tournament, he has once again generously offered to provide food for the team during the afternoon matches.

As Chillax FC prepared to participate in our recent tournament, we were searching for a sponsor who would believe in our vision and support our journey. During that process, we realized that many of our players were proud graduates of Canterbury Institute of Management (CIM), which inspired us to reach out to CIM's Dean, Mr. Pranil Prasad.
From our very first conversation, Mr. Prasad showed genuine interest in our team and immediately expressed his willingness to support us. More than just a sponsor, he became a mentor, guide, and guardian for the team. His encouragement and belief in us motivated our players both on and off the field.
Mr. Prasad has always been someone who inspires students to strive for excellence. During our college days, many of us benefited from his mentorship, guidance, and commitment to helping students make positive changes in their academic and personal lives. His leadership has helped shape many young individuals into confident and responsible members of the community.

⚽💙 Jersey Reveal & Distribution Day – A Special Thank You 💙⚽

Today was a memorable day for the Chillax Football Team as we officially unveiled and distributed our jerseys for the upcoming tournament. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Yogi's Way for generously providing their beautiful venue and delicious food, making the occasion even more special for our players and supporters.
A special thank you to Yogi Dai, whose inspiring message reminded us that football is not only about physical fitness but also about looking after our mental and emotional wellbeing. As many of us are living in Darwin, far away from our families and home countries, his words highlighted the importance of checking in on our friends, supporting one another, and ensuring that no one feels alone during difficult times.
Yogi Dai spoke about the importance of mental health awareness, emotional wellbeing, and the role of genuine friendships within our community. His reminder that a simple message or phone call to a friend who has been quiet for a few days can make a significant difference resonated strongly with all of us.
He also shared valuable insights about Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD), discussing how habits that may seem harmless or fun today can become unhealthy coping mechanisms in the future. He encouraged our players to make positive choices, especially on game days, by avoiding smoking and drinking, and even promised a surprise reward for the team if we can maintain this commitment throughout the tournament.
As someone currently pursuing a PhD in Environmental and Psychological Health, Yogi Dai continues to be a positive influence and mentor within our community. We sincerely acknowledge him not only for his support today but also for being a guardian, guide, and role model for many members of our football family.
We would also like to thank Ashish from Oasis Education for joining us and supporting our team. Ashish is currently studying Migration Law and has been providing guidance and migration-related support to many international students in Darwin. We appreciate his ongoing contribution to our community and his encouragement towards our players.
