Marja - Director @ Ability Moves
Marja is a senior teacher, 'movement as medicine' woman, and lifelong student of the body. With over 20 years of experience, she believes deeply in the power of movement, breath, and nervous system regulation to create real change - physically, emotionally, and energetically.
She’s a qualified yoga teacher, breathwork facilitator, Reiki Master Instructor, and has hosted international retreats around the world, experiences that now inform the grounded, practical, and inclusive way she teaches. After years of global travel, she’s proud to call the Coffs Coast home.
Marja loves to shake, move, breathe, and reset - and yes, she’s a big fan of cold therapy. She brings warmth, humour, and presence into every space she holds, while maintaining boundaries like a Mo-Fo. Fierce yet nurturing, she’s a true lioness Mumma Bear to her two strong, remarkable boys.
Marja is thrilled to be embarking on this new venture with Ability Moves, because she believes a dedicated movement studio is exactly what the disability sector in Coffs Harbour needs right now - more choice, more variety, more support, and a whole lot more fun.
Her vision is to create a space where people feel safe to explore movement, regulate their nervous systems, build confidence, and reconnect with their bodies in a way that feels empowering and joyful.
Movement is medicine - and Marja is here to help people access it, one breath, shake, and smile at a time.
