Anyone available to gate marshal on Sunday 6th September for the training day?

Who sets up for a jumping day in the rain? 🌧️

Set-up was completed in the rain, with all the odds stacked on the generally unreliable weather apps telling us the sun would come out at 9am. 😂

We had a keen bunch of riders who certainly didn’t seem to mind getting wet, and it turned out to be a great day, with just a cool breeze here and there to remind us it was winter between the sunny bits.

An amazing number of people stayed behind to help pack up. We really do have a fantastic community of riders in the area. ❤️

Surprisingly, almost everyone who had entered showed up, and the footing held up really well, with some fresh spring grass growth already peaking through.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, rode, helped out and made the day such a success. It’s days like this that remind us just how lucky we are to have such a great bunch of people involved. 🐴💦

Getting it done at Hunter Valley Showjumping Club Inc - HVSJC

Sunday delivered a spectacular winter’s day, with plenty of sunshine and just a touch of wind in the afternoon. Riders and horses enjoyed a fantastic day of jumping, making the most of the club’s impressive collection of equipment at our home ground in Lovedale.

A huge thank you to our wonderful team of volunteers who made the day run so smoothly. From the quick and efficient set-up in the morning, to managing poles and height changes throughout the day, marshalling competitors, and packing up at the end, your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Entries for Sunday's training day close at 7pm tonight.
The grass arena was inspected this morning and looks very good, though we suggest attendees park opposite the sand arena as this will be dryer than opposite the grass arena.
