🏆 2026 Carlingford Women’s Major Singles – Finalists Set!
Our finalists are set after today’s Semi Finals were played under clear skies at Carlo. ☀️
Semi Final 1:
Sandii Charleston was the first player through to the Final with a strong 25–11 victory over Kathy Uren.
Semi Final 2:
Maelene Reynolds and Cathy Dickins had a fantastic battle, with the game coming down to 24–24 before Maelene held her nerve to get over the line 25–24.

🐨 Koalas Set for Penrith 5 Aside Challenge 🐨

The Carlo Koalas are set to hit the greens at Penrith Bowling Club for the 2026 Penrith 5 Aside Challenge, getting underway on Thursday 17th September and running through to Thursday 29th October! 🏆
The club has selected a squad of 13 players who will represent the Koalas at different stages of the competition. The challenge will provide valuable experience in the 5 Aside format, while giving our players the opportunity to test themselves against some strong competition from clubs across Sydney.
The first Koalas team will be announced in the coming weeks, with the team set to take on the Austral Eagles in Round 1 on Thursday 17th September.

Ladies Major Singles – Semi Finals
Due to the rain, the Ladies Major Singles Semi Finals have been postponed.
The semi finals will now be played next Tuesday at 2.30pm.

2025/26 CBSRC Presentation Night
We are pleased to announce that our 2025/26 CBSRC Presentation Evening will be held on Friday 9th October 2026 at Carlingford Bowling, Sports & Recreation Club.
The evening will recognise our club championship winners from our bowling clubs, as well as celebrating the achievements and successes of another fantastic year across the CBSRC Group.
🎟️ Tickets: $50 per person
Tickets include:
• Dinner
• Lucky door prizes
• Entertainment
• Drinks (Bottles of wine on tables & some Drink Tickets)
Tickets are on sale now from the Bar and Reception.
When purchasing your ticket, please make sure staff swipe your membership card so we can keep an accurate record of ticket sales.

It wouldn't be Friday without bit of Finals!
It is great to have one of our favourites, Nathan "NFM" Malloy, re-signed with the Carlo Koalas for another season! 💚
Nathan has thoroughly enjoyed the past two Platinum seasons with the Koalas and has become an important part of our squad. Along the way, he claimed the Club Major Pairs Championship last season and proudly represented the club at both the Moama Pairs and in the Ultimate Bowls Championship (UBC).
Regarded as one of the steadiest leads in the game, Nathan has continued to develop into a versatile player who can perform in any position within the team. His consistency, commitment, and team-first attitude make him a valuable asset both on and off the green.
We're thrilled to have NFM back in Koalas colours for another year.

Zac Robertson is locked and loaded for another season with the Carlo Koalas! 💥
After being a valued member of the Koalas throughout the past two Platinum Pennant seasons, Zac has re-signed for the upcoming 2027 season.
One of the most naturally gifted players in our squad, Zac has the ability to turn a game with his skill, composure, and shot-making. While we're keeping him on ice until the start of the 2027 season, we're excited to have him back in Koalas colours for another tilt at Platinum Pennant.
We can't wait to see Zac back out on the green representing the Koalas!
