The team has been named for the Taylor Challenge Bronze Central Section Play-offs!
Our selectors faced a tough task, with plenty of quality nominations making every position hard-earned. Congratulations to those selected and thank you to everyone who put their hand up to represent the Crocs.
Now the real work begins.
This is the first step in our quest to defend the State Flag won by the Crocs last year. The road won't be easy, but our Calliope Blacks are ready for the challenge.

The Calliope Blue team is ready to make a splash and let Port Curtis know who is top of the food chain.
Here is the side named to defend our title in the Port Curtis section of the Taylor Challenge Bronze Division.
One thing's for sure, wherever Crocs gather, there's always plenty of bite, plenty of pride and plenty of fight!

The 2026 Taylor Bowls State Challenge Bronze Division State Championship Flag is proudly hanging in Croc Country, but we aren't basking in the sun for long.

With our Blue and Green teams now named, the Crocs are lying in wait, eyes just above the surface and firmly fixed on a new target... Silver.

When the campaign gets underway in February, the hunt begins.

Focused. Patient. Ready to strike.

The teams for the 2026 Taylor Bowls State Challenge have been named!

Following the success of last year’s campaign, the Calliope Crocs are stepping up to compete in the Silver Section this year.

With a strong group of talented bowlers to choose from, our selectors faced the challenging task of naming two teams to represent Calliope in the CQ and PC Sections. The first and second-placed teams from each section will progress to the finals later in the year.

The Taylor Challenge is about teamwork, commitment and club pride—not individual success. We look forward to seeing both squads support one another and work together towards the ultimate goal of competing in the finals.

Congratulations to everyone selected, and great bowling, Crocs! 🐊💙💚

Teams have been named for the upcoming tussle for the Calliope Croc Challenge to be played @ Calliope Central Sports Club on Saturday September 26.
