Never know what you stumble across, whilst walking the banks of the rivers for Barra in Lakefield NP.

Turn sound up as a big Barra boofs a topwater frog in Lakefield NP. You tend to miss a few on the surface, but they always make you jump.

Caught and lost some good Barras and Threadfin Salmon along the beaches last week in the glorious weather. This was the best one going 112cm. What a great fishery right on our doorstep.

You know they’re big, when getting airborne takes a while. Millionaire fishing along the Cairns beaches at the moment, without another boat in sight. Never easy, but always a chance.
