Last night, our 2026 FNBL season came to a close after an epic night of basketball. In just its second edition, our FNBL reached over 25 teams and 140+ games played across 14 weeks of winter action. The result; over 200 young people given the opportunity to play a sport they love year-round 💙

One of the absolute highlights of our BGR calendar, our finale night brings together all 14 of our teams to battle it out for a season title! On Friday night, we will crown our Boys Tier 1, Tier 2 and Girls champions, host our annual skills challenge and present our Values Player of the Year awards 🤩

It's an awesome night for everyone involved, with pizzas and other goodies for the kids to enjoy to finish an epic season of 3x3 basketball. Come on down to the Geographe Leisure Centre from 4:00pm to catch all the action 🔥

The team at Be Game Ready are excited to open registrations for our ONLY school holiday workshop for this July School Holidays.

Whether you've been on-court with us across our BGR 3x3 or FNBL competitions or you haven't laced up your hoop shoes for a few months, this workshop is exactly what you've been looking for! Don't miss this opportunity to work with representative and state level coaches with Blazers trails close on the horizon 🌅

BGR 3x3 has TAKEN OFF 🚀

Across the last 2 weeks, we have enjoyed our opening two rounds of BGR 3x3 (formerly Sunday League 3x3) at the Geographe Leisure Centre!

The vibes have been absolutely elite to start the year with over 70 athletes hitting the floor across Rounds 1 and 2.

To catch the action, come on down to the Geographe Leisure Centre from 4:15pm and hang around to catch our FNBL action from 5:00pm on Courts 1 and 2 🏀

🧑‍🍳 Coaching Apprenticeships👨‍🍳

Interested in coaching basketball, but feel you need more support to get started?

Be Game Ready are excited to open expressions of interest for Coaching Apprenticeships in 2026! BGR invites successful candidates to learn new skills and approaches to coaching under guidance from experienced senior coaches during our BGR 3x3 season.

Our BGR 3x3 format allows for more frequent, genuine and impactful coaching opportunities for more athletes, creating the perfect environment for players, but also coaches to grow. Across a 12 week competition, apprentice coaches will have access to insight and support from some of the regions most experienced coaches, who are committed to developing new coaches and volunteers within the game.

Also, if apprentices complete certain milestones with BGR, they will have coaching course and accreditation fees covered as a part of their apprenticeship.
