Winterball is back! ❤️💙

We’re excited to announce that Kensington will once again be nominating teams with the SA Winter Ball Association for the upcoming season.

Winterball is a great way to keep the bat and glove moving through the off-season, with a relaxed and social competition that still brings plenty of good baseball. Players of all abilities are welcome, and it’s a fantastic chance to stay connected with the club over winter.

Winterball Wrap-Up!💙❤️
That’s a wrap on the Winterball minor rounds — and what a season!

We fielded three teams this year and loved welcoming new players into our community. A highlight was seeing families on the diamond together — parents, kids, partners, siblings, and cousins — true community spirit in action.

Thanks to everyone for an incredible season!

What a fabulous weekend of Winterball!

Huge congratulations to our Division 1 and Division 2 teams for their wins!

Our Division 3 team showed incredible heart—fighting back from a double-digit deficit to be just two runs behind heading into the final dig. Although they didn’t quite get there, it was a fantastic effort and a thrilling game to watch.

This Saturday, 17th May, all three teams will be playing at home at Newland Park:

10:30 AM – Kensington Cardinays (Div 3)
12:30 PM – Kensington Kensi (Div 2)
2:30 PM – Kensington Cardinals (Div 1)
We can't wait to see you there cheering everyone on!

Winter Baseball 2025 Kicks Off This Saturday!

We’re excited to announce that the 2025 Winter Baseball season officially begins this Saturday, May 3rd, and we’re kicking things off with all three of our teams playing at home! It’s going to be an action-packed day, and we’d love for you to come out and support our players as they take the field for Round One.

We’re also thrilled to introduce our Team Managers for the season. A big thank you to these dedicated individuals for stepping up to help lead our teams:

Division One: Trent Walpole & Blake Farr
Division Two: Danae Diment
Division Three: Ayme Walpole

Saturday's Game Schedule:

Division 3 – 10:30am
Division 2 – 12:30pm
Division 1 – 2:30pm

New Players are Welcome!
It’s not too late to join the fun—we’re still accepting new players for all divisions! Whether you’re looking to play for the first time or return for another season, we’d love to have you on the team. Come along and get involved!

Make sure to come early—the canteen will be open from 10:00 a.m., offering all your favourite game-day snacks. The bar will be open from 12:00 p.m. for those looking to enjoy a cold drink while watching the action.

It’s going to be a great day of baseball, camaraderie, and family fun. Bring your friends, bring your family—let’s kick off the Winter Baseball 2025 season with a bang!
