Today is International Day of Families. 🧡
On this special day, 2-year-old Audrey and her family want to share a message to thank you for your support of all families impacted by childhood cancer.
"For the past year we have had the honour of being family ambassadors for GCC and the encouragement we have received from this incredible community has been so uplifting.
When you spend a year in and out of hospital, your world can start to feel smaller and smaller, but knowing there are thousands of people out there riding to raise awareness and much needed funds for childhood cancer and families likes ours gives us so much hope and reminds us again and again that we are not alone.
Every rider, every kilometre and every message of support means so much to us. THANK YOU!” – Maddy (Audrey’s mum)
Audrey continues to receive treatment to help her kick cancer’s butt… she just completed round 3 of a 12-month trial protocol.
Every year, 700 families hear the heart-breaking news, “your child has cancer.”
The devastation of a diagnosis, and the pain of seeing your kiddo endure harsh treatments, can be overwhelming.
But your efforts to support childhood cancer research are bringing hope to these brave kids and their families.
GCC’ers, your support will save little lives. 🌟

This is why this challenge matters so much. Holding Harry & his family in our thoughts 💛
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we share the news that our beloved ambassador, Harry, passed away this week. He was surrounded by his loving family. 😢💔
Harry was just 5 years old, and he fought courageously throughout his 14-month-long battle with neuroblastoma.
Not only was he brave, but Harry brought so much joy and laughter to all those around him.
We feel so honoured to have known this little man. He inspired a nation through his strength and bravery throughout his cancer journey.
Our thoughts are with Harry's family, and we will keep him in our hearts and minds as we ride to honour him in this year’s challenge.
Please join us in sending messages of support and love to Harry's family during this very difficult time.
Rest in peace Harry, you will never be forgotten. ❤️

Here’s the updated raffle board 👏 We’re down to less than 30 numbers to go, so we’re getting very close to drawing it!
If you’d like a number (or a few 😉), they’re $5 each — just message me to confirm your numbers and I’ll send through bank details.
And to anyone waiting on a reply about payment, I promise I’m getting back to you — just playing catch-up!
As always, it’s all for a great cause 💛 Tell your friends, family, neighbours…get in quick before they're all gone!
Thank you so much for the support — we’re nearly there! 🙌

The Great Cycle Challenge 2026 - Why I Ride💛
For those who are new here (or just want a refresher!), I take part in the Great Cycle Challenge every year - a whole month to raise money for paediatric cancer. The goal is simple; ride as far as you can, raise as much as you can & help give kids a fighting chance at a healthy childhood.
This will be my third year doing it and let me tell you...the emotions are always high. In the time that I've participated, I've been postpartum, pregnant and postpartum with twins this year - so it's safe to say the tears and the adrenaline both run strong! That's probably why this challenge hits me so hard, and why it matters so much to me personally.
I ride for all the kids who can't, and for their families who face the unimaginable every single day. I ride so that one day, no child has to fight cancer alone and every family can feel supported & hopeful.
This page is where I'll be sharing updates, raffles, chocolate boxes & eventually my ride progress in October - so everything is in one spot, without flooding my personal page.
Thank you for following along and thank you in advance for your support. It means more than you know🚴♀️💛

Hi everyone 👋
As most of you know, I take part in the Great Cycle Challenge each year to raise funds for the diagnosis and treatment of paediatric cancer. For those who aren’t familiar, the Great Cycle Challenge is an event held throughout the month of October, where riders challenge themselves to ride as far as they can while raising as much money as possible to help fight kids’ cancer.
This year, with two beautiful babies joining our family in July, plus work and university, our year is going to be very full. So rather than trying to cram all the fundraising in later, I’ve decided this is the best time to get a head start, knowing I’ll also continue fundraising again when the challenge officially begins in October.
💛 What’s happening?
I’ll be running a raffle in February as part of my Great Cycle Challenge fundraising.
🎟 How it will work:
• Tickets are $5 each
• You choose a number and message me
• I’ll confirm your number first (please wait for confirmation before payment, as numbers may already be taken)
🎁 Prizes:
• Men’s winner: $150 BCF gift card
• Women’s winner: $150 Essence Spa & Beauty gift card
• For my Brisbane, Toowoomba and Melbourne family & friends — the spa prize can be $150 to a spa of your choice.
The proceeds from this raffle will go directly towards my Great Cycle Challenge fundraising page, helping to support kids and families facing paediatric cancer. You can read more about where the funds go on the Great Cycle Challenge website, and I’ve linked my personal page below so you can follow along.
📅 Raffle officially launches: 1st February
I’ll post again then with all the details so you can grab your numbers.
Thank you, as always, for supporting something that means so much to me. 💛
Stay tuned
