🏑 300 GAMES - KYLIE GORRINGE 🏑
Congratulations to Kylie who has reached an incredible 300 senior games for Brunswick Hockey Club playing in the finals over the weekend 🎉
One of the most dependable players you could ever take the field with, Kylie gives her all at every opportunity. Her calmness under pressure, game awareness, supportive attitude and reliable skills make her the kind of player everyone wants on their team. Her hockey achievements extend beyond Brunswick, with selection in both Victorian and Australian Masters sides.
A true BHC club person, Kylie’s contribution goes well beyond the field. From coaching our juniors to volunteering around the club, she is always willing to give back to the Brunswick community.

The VL2 Men played a cracking Elimination Final on Sunday against St Bedes, full of thrills and spills and came away with a brilliant 2-0 win! In a tight match the boys kept their composure throughout. GO WICKERS!! 👏👏🏑🏑👏👏
Thrilling win 2-0 for the Men's First against St Bede's at Mentone. Long time Wickers Ben Sadler & Rory Kennedy hit the scoresheet in a great, high pressure team performance. Everyone played their role and brought home the chocolates. Bring on next week!

The 18s had a tense, action-packed match-up against PEGS at home on Friday night in the semi-final and took the win 2-1! Brilliant attacking game by all the girls and boys- and now it’s off to another epic grand final against Craigieburn Falcons. Bring it on! 👏🏑👏

The 16 Pennant Boys played a thrilling semi-final against Geelong Friday night that could easily have gone either way- but they prevailed and took the win 5-3! An unbelievably tense match- brilliant play by everybody. Bring on the Grand Final!! 🏑👏🏑

The Women's NW Penn E team played Greensborough in an Elimination Final and lost 1-2. The team had a great season and really improved as the year went on. The top 4 teams were evenly matched and today Greensborough played well to take the chocolates. Thanks to Coach Craig and the players for putting in a huge season. Brunswick were attacking to the very end and they should be proud of their season.

The 35+ Women also played their final game for 2026 during the week and while they struggled against a talented Melb Uni, they showed persistence and had great fun on the process.

The 60+ team wrapped up their season this week, playing against KBH. It’s been an up and down season but we’ve all enjoyed playing together and having fun.
