Small Change for a Big Change

We did it!!

I am so excited to share with you all that our fundraising efforts for Small Change for a Big Change have been successful in raising over $3000!!!

I want to say a big thank you to each and every one of you who helped out for this amazing cause, whether it was by eating a sausage sizzle, cupcakes or chocolates, or by purchasing a raffle ticket...I can't thank-you enough!

Thank-you to those who showed up to support me at my events, to those who helped sell raffle tickets and chocolates among other things and to those who were so kind to make cash donations to make this possible! There are simply far too many people to thank, but you know who are, and please know that I am forever grateful and I truly could not have done this without you!

I have to say a special thanks of course to my Mumma Bear as without her none of this would have been possible! Thank you for your unconditional love and support on this journey. Thank you for staying up till all hours of the night baking with me, smuggling chocolates into your work and keeping me mostly sane! I appreciate your help more than you know, and your kindness in cooking dinner while I have been busy and letting my rent money slide have not gone unnoticed!

Thank-you again to each and every one of you! I know that your love and support will make a difference in so many children's lives, while also helping to protect and continue the generations of the beautiful Laos elephants to come!

Our bake sale market stall was a great success today, despite the terrible weather! Thank You ever so much to those of you braved the rain to show your support to get a tasty treat and I hope you loved eating them and as much as I enjoyed baking them!

As always a huge thank you to my amazing friends and family for your continuous support, especially my beautiful Mumma- for your help in the endless hours spent baking, even if it did mean you got stuck with the dishes!

THANKYOU so very much to every one who purchased a raffle and to those of you who worked so tirelessly to help me sell them to raise money for this incredible cause, I appreciate it more than you know!

I am so excited to announce that Rachel Keenan is the lucky winner of first prize, scoring herself either a bottle of liquor or a tasty meat tray (but with just over a month away from her 18th birthday, can anyone guess her pick!?)

Second prize goes to Nicole Mulrine and she has won herself dinner for two at the Beach House Browns Plains which has the best food (and staff!)

And the third and final prize is for Miss Jemma Lenarduzzi who has won herself a $50 hair and beauty voucher from the amazing girls as Lushh Hair and Beauty!

Congratulations ladies! It looks like the gents missed out this time! Thank you so much for your support in purchasing your tickets, I hope you enjoy your prizes! :)

I just wanted to say thank-you to everyone in their efforts so far; those of you that have donated, those of you who came to our bbq's and those of you eaten lots of chocolate to help us raise vital funds, THANK-YOU! We have been incredibly successful so far thanks to you all, however we still have a wee way to go yet to raise enough money to truly make a difference for the children and elephants in Laos!

Tomorrow night we will fundraising down at the Greenbank RSL, with some delicious meat trays up for grabs! We will be there from 6pm-8pm and with 6 draws throughout the night, there are plenty of chances to win!

I hope to see some familiar faces there to help out for this awesome cause (and what a great reason for sneaky drink!). Hope to see you there!!

It's that time again!

Sizzling hot sausages, sprinkled with freshly cooked onion and some Aussie sauce...mmm!

We are firing up this Saturday, July 11th once again at First Choice Bottle Shop Browns Plains, right next door to the Browns Plains Tavern from 9:30am!

If your in the area please drop in and grab a sausage and a drink for this fantastic cause!... It only takes some small change to make a big change!

It is busy times at the moment, nearing the end of semester with placement and exams, so I apologise for being so quiet!

But I promise you... bigger and better things will be coming over then next few weeks to really get this fundraising rolling!

I wanted to thank everyone for all of their help and their support so far, our official tally has pushed just over $550 which is a fantastic effort, but we still have a long way to go yet!

I will be arranging another sausage sizzle in the very near future, and will also be looking for small businesses who are willing to help by raffling goods, donating prizes etc, for this fantastic cause!
