Kenda Tires 660 Drag Radial Series

OG 315 a growing class full of cool cars that always are keen to show up and put it down.

This round it was Tim Cross in his famous little Green Cortina and to top it he only had a 275 tyre on. He top Qualified with a 4.405 and then also went on to take the beams against recent newcomer Daniel Barrett in a final.
With the holeshot win Tim Cross took the honors and the margin was small, a 4.395 beating a 4.380. The reaction was what got it done and the .068 for Timmy was the ticket.

Its no Secret OG 275 one of our favourite classes was simply amazing and the caliber of cars pushing to run as close to the 4.60 index is crazy. Basically Street cars massively overpowered and getting the job done on a 275 Radial Tyre.

The top qualifying points going to Matt Turnball in his tough as nails Commodore ute with a 4.627

It was Dale Gridley in his Valiant wagon to take the win in the finals over Guy King.
Guy was sure to be the one to take power wheelie prize as well. The short wheelbase Corolla impressing with most of the 1/8th done on the back wheels.

Massive shout out to BRP Race Transmission Coolers for backing the class and supplying the best Trans coolers on the planet.

Haltech Outlaw 235 is the fastest growing class at this stage of the game. Braggin Rights was an unbelievable showing of the real Small tyre legends. It was simply amazing and edge of the seat action.

The Worlds fastest 235 passes went down run after run and eventually Scott Cortina claimed the Et record of 4.353. The Young Gun Jaidyn Seng was the man with the speed at a staggering 176.35mph which will be his for now. The first to the 30s was our great mate from south of the boarder Cam Riley and we are sure he will be back to keep the QLD teams under the pump.

BRAGGIN RIGHTS RECAP AND RESULTS.

What a meet it was for this group of racers...

The winner was Simon O'Carroll in the Kraken Camaro. This was also the car that is now the IHRA Australia National Record Holder with a crazy 3.859 and also a speed of 212.13. He also gained the top Qualifying points.

The Runner up was Daniel Nunziante in the amazing Purple Mustang and the QLD Curse still seems to haunt this poor team. We are sure he will overcome this soon and return to defend the title.

Well the update is great for our mate Adrian.
He is in good shape considering the op was 2 days ago.

With the family we call Kenda and the OG 315 group of legends we have got together and gifted him and his family in true Kenda spirit to help cover some costs. Its a long way from home and we love our WA peeps.

We wish him the absolute best in his recovery and the good news is he will be back. Take it easy mate and we are all here for you.
