Guess no better time than now to announce, I will be racing in Malaysia.
Countless hours have been put in to prepare for this with a severe weight drop, and now it’s approaching I couldn’t be more determined to finish the job.
Never let anyone tell you that your goals can’t be achieved.

Fantastic TAG hit out from McLaren Academy supported driver Keegan Fraser!
Keegan tackled his first TAG Light race of the year at the 40th City of Melbourne Titles, piloting the IKD/JT powered Formula K.
His driving style is uniquely his own — and that’s exactly how we like it.
At McLaren Academy we don’t force drivers into a mould. We work with their natural strengths, refine the details, and extract the maximum performance possible.
Great job young man in a stacked field. The results will keep coming as the process continues.
Thank you for the faith Keegan. Onwards.

After another weekend of solid results on track, I just want to say a massive thank you to all the kids and families who put their trust in me.
Yes, I’m known as the data guy – the one buried in numbers, setups, and lap times.
But what people don’t always see is that I breathe and live every lap with your children. I feel every high, every low, every moment of frustration and every burst of pure joy. To me, this isn’t just racing… this is life.
I’m mentally exhausted right now, but it’s a good kind of tired. The kind that comes from pouring everything I have into these young drivers.
Thank you for trusting me with their safety, for leaning on my support with big decisions, and for letting me be there through the emotional rollercoaster. I’m determined to give these kids what I never had as a young racer – real guidance, genuine care, and the tools to become not just faster racers, but smoother, stronger, more resilient humans.
Winners come and go. Solid people last forever.
From the bottom of my heart – thank you.

Coming back to the kart seat after two years away was a real challenge, but one I’m proud to have taken on.
After dropping just over 10kg and spending the last 4 months preparing, I headed to the KA3 Masters National at Coffs Harbour with realistic but ambitious goals — aiming for the top 10, even though I knew I didn’t have the recent seat time or credentials of many around me.
It was an absolute privilege to share the grid with so many people I genuinely idolise and respect.
There were some genuine glimpses of speed. I managed to put two heats inside the top 10, and after a crash in Heat 1, I lined up 13th for the Final. Unfortunately, a couple of penalties and one poor decision (made in the heat of emotion and frustration) saw the weekend finish in 17th.
That decision was completely against everything I teach as a coach — and I own it fully. The good, the bad, and the lessons. 𝐍𝐨 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬.
Huge credit to the organisers, Kip Forster, and all at the IKD team for putting on an absolutely brilliant event and for giving me the chance to race. Top class as always.
This isn’t over for me — not even close. I’ll be back. Even as a coach, I’m always learning. The biggest takeaway? There is no substitute for proper time in the seat and consistent laps to be truly prepared. And no good decision is ever made from emotion.
Own your flaws. Celebrate your wins — even if one of those wins is simply making your body healthier along the way. We’re all human. Learn, reset, and come back stronger with more knowledge and experience.
Thank you to everyone who supported the journey. More to come 💪

Luke Armstrong delivered a flawless performance at the 2026 Macau International Kart Grand Prix (IAME Series Asia Round 4), securing a dominant clean sweep across the entire weekend.
Fastest in every session, Armstrong claimed pole position and led every lap of every race — extending his incredible run to three consecutive clean-sweep weekends. Even with a commanding lead, the McLaren Academy team refused to settle, continuing to chase perfection right through Sunday. Fine-tuning the kart until the final moments, they proved that true commitment to excellence never stops.
Teammate Ian Whillock, in just his second round with McLaren Academy, showed impressive resilience in one of the toughest environments in Asian karting. Making his debut at the high-speed Macau circuit with no prior experience, Whillock quickly adapted to the demanding layout and elevated average speeds. He set the second-fastest time in the Super Heat and fought his way to a solid P8 finish overall — a very stout effort for a first-time visitor to this challenging venue.
This marks the second consecutive round where both McLaren Academy drivers have collectively topped the timesheets. With the potent Merlin engines combined with the versatile and proven OTK chassis packages run by Simon and Eugene racing, the team has forged a formidable combination that’s hard to beat.
As McLaren Academy continues to expand its stable in the coming rounds, this level of speed and consistency is only going to draw more attention.
Big congratulations to Luke Armstrong, Ian Whillock, and the entire McLaren Academy associated partners on a standout weekend in Macau!

The future of motorsport is in good hands. 👊
While others are winding down for the day, Beau Chambers is already analysing data, learning the craft, and pushing himself to be better. That drive to learn, improve and chase higher standards is what sets the next generation apart.
It’s awesome to see young drivers so invested in understanding every detail — because champions aren’t made by talent alone, they’re built through effort, curiosity and hard work.
Track Walks: Not Just a Stroll… It’s Strategy in Motion. 🚨
Here in Macau, coaching during a proper track walk.
A track walk isn’t about casually strolling the circuit. It’s about studying every single detail — the oscillations in the surface, the abrasions that tell you exactly how the tires will bite (or slide), the camber changes, the bumps that will unsettle the kart, and the exact lines that separate a good lap from a great one.
We don’t just walk it.
We walk through it.
We talk through it.
We break it down section by section with in-depth feedback — what the car will do, where the grip will fall off, where you can carry more speed, and where you need to be patient.
This is where the real work starts. Before the engine even fires, the race is already being won or lost in these moments of deliberate observation.
Respect the track walk. Master the details. That’s how you build real speed.
