31 years flying high šŸ•Šļø I was only 7 years old when you left this world for your place in the kingdom and although I was young, I still have some of the fondest memories of you, your infectious smile, your cheeky giggle, your generous heart but most of all - your unconditional love ā¤ļø

I miss you granddad and often think what life would be like if I got to know you more, but you left behind your legacy of love and for that I will always remember you x

What did you SEI? lol

In honour of Vaiaso o le Gagana Samoa here’s sis Jah wearing one of Kokonut Kids ā€œFeature Sei Clipsā€ for those that don’t want to wear a full crown but a single sei wasn’t gonna cut it šŸ˜

The original fusion crown was constructed in 2019 for an exhibition called ā€œPutiputiā€ meaning flower at

It was made using floral remnants from previous projects I had created. When asked what it represented, the vision I had in mind was that each element stood alone as an individual piece, but together they formed a fusion of many parts. It became a metaphor for Auckland’s diverse Polynesian cultures—a melting pot of people, traditions, and identities that, while unique in their own right, come together to create a vibrant and unified community.

This is a version of the original worn by my Aunty Moran Vee, and the second image is the original on display at Vunilagi Vou
