WINTER MELTDOWN – ROUND 1!

Well, here we are at Maryborough Speedway for Round 1 of the Winter Meltdown!

After what has felt like a massive break, Tayla is finally back behind the wheel tomorrow in her M43 125 class!

Racing kicks off from 11am, and we’ll be posting updates throughout the day as Tayla hits the track.

Celebrating Tayla for NAIDOC Week 🖤💛❤️

NAIDOC Week, we celebrate not only culture, strength and resilience, but also the next generation proudly carrying those values forward.

Tayla continues to represent her Aboriginal heritage with pride every time she heads to the speedway. Through her involvement with the Racing Together program, she has found more than a race team—she has found a community that embraces culture, connection, respect and opportunity.

Whether she's behind the wheel of her personal design karts or standing alongside her team, Tayla races with determination, humility and pride. Her Aboriginal-inspired livery is a reminder that culture can be celebrated in every arena, including motorsport.

We're incredibly proud of the young woman Tayla has become and grateful to everyone who has supported her journey—her family, sponsors, Racing Together, and the wider motorsport community.

This NAIDOC Week, we celebrate the strength of our Elders, the achievements of our young people, and the power of culture to inspire future generations.

This weekend, Tayla's kart is taking a little road trip!

We've proudly lent Tayla's kart Trent Sanderson and Harry Sanderson for the Gladstone Show, where it will be part of the speedway demonstrations, helping showcase our amazing sport to the local community.
