Healing doesn’t make you mean. It makes you mature
The opposite of a “good girl” isn’t a bad girl.
It’s an empowered woman who can say no without guilt.
Speak up without becoming cruel.
Set boundaries without shutting people out.
And choose herself without needing everyone to understand.
You don’t need a harder heart to heal.
Soft front. Strong back.
Kind AND boundaried.
Compassionate AND clear.
Loving AND self-respecting.
That’s the kind of healing I’m here for.

Reminder for all my strong, resilient people out there… I see you.
The one who keeps showing up.
Gets it done.
Holds everything together.
Says, “I’m fine” and somehow makes it look true.
Strength isn’t how much you can carry without breaking.
Sometimes strength is admitting:
This is a lot. I need support too.
You don’t have to fall apart before you’re allowed to put something down.
For anyone who needed this reminder today 🤍I see you.
Can you heal… even when you can’t be cured?
At 36 years old, with three children under three, Cass Miller | Keynote Speaker was diagnosed with incurable neuroendocrine cancer. (Same cancer as Steve Jobs)
And yet today, she says something you might not expect: 🪽She feels happier and healthier than she did before her diagnosis.
Not because the cancer magically disappeared.
Not because she rejected medicine.
But because she learned to embrace medicine AND magic. ✨
In 🎙️Episode 54 of Inner Self-Confidence, Cassie and I talk about what happens when healing stops meaning “make this go away” and starts meaning:
How do I fully live while this is here?
We talk about spirituality, fear, motherhood, modern medicine, gratitude and what Lisa Miller explores in her book 📚“The Awakened Brain”: our human capacity for spirituality and its relationship with resilience, meaning and how we move through life’s hardest experiences.
Because believing in God, the universe, the divine — or simply something greater than yourself — doesn’t make you invincible.
It doesn’t mean nothing bad will happen.
It can mean you become more grounded, clear, grateful and present for the life that’s happening right now.
And maybe that’s an important distinction:
Being cured is about the disease.
Healing can be about the person living with it.

✨💫Was I psychic, a master manifestor… or was it all just one massive coincidence?
At 20, I visited Australia for just 10 days.
I left knowing two things:
✔️I’m going to live here one day.
✔️And I’ll die here.
No visa. No job. No family here. No logical reason.
I just knew.
Most 20 year olds would keep those crazy thoughts to themselves, but I didn’t! I told anyone who would listen and most people laughed it off thinking “everyone falls in love with a place they visit”🙃
10 years. Three attempts. One broken heart. Losing my mom (and biological father). A $99 flight. A $777 Burning Man ticket… and eventually, the man I would marry.
I recently submitted the full story, “The Wrong Man, The Right Country,” to Quillkeepers Press for their Foreshadowed anthology — exploring intuition, inevitability and those moments when we somehow know before we have proof.
“Intuition is less like a map and more like a compass. It does not show us the entire path or promise an exact destination. It points.”
I didn’t know how I’d get here.
I didn’t know the destination. I just knew the direction.
The wrong man led me to the right country.
And the right country led me home. ✨
So what do you think — psychic, manifestation, intuition… or coincidence?

First off, whoever this is, thank you again for letting me use your phone for 3 hours!!
70,000+ people. 7 days apart. Hundreds of miles away. And somehow… the SAME guy. 🤯
This might be the craziest synchronicity I’ve ever experienced.
First day in we’re sitting in our RV, 9 HOURS into the line for Burning Man, when this random guy who is in the RV next to us walks past.
We never spoke to him.
Never met him.
Didn’t even notice him.
Fast-forward 7 days.
Burning Man is over. We’re driving back to LA and stop at a random rest stop in Independence, California to sleep.
I manage to LOCK THE KEYS IN OUR RV. 😂
Another group of Burners happens to be broken down at the same rest stop, and one of the guys lets me use his phone for THREE HOURS while I try to get us back inside. They were the only other people there at the rest stop.
We eventually say goodbye and go our separate ways.
Later, we’re looking through our Burning Man footage…
AND THERE HE IS.
The guy who helped me at that random rest stop was the SAME guy who walked past our RV seven days earlier and we waited in the line next to each other!
Coincidence?
Synchronicity?
The universe having a laugh?
Call it whatever you want…
but sometimes life leaves little breadcrumbs that make you wonder how random any of this really is. ✨
The only traffic jam on Earth worth sitting in🔥Could be six hours, nine hours.. 18… we shall see!
And see that random guy walking by our RV? 👀
Remember him.
Because I’ve got one of the craziest synchronicity stories about that guy coming for you… 🤯🔥
Burning Man, you’re magic like that✨🏜️
One day, you will be gone.
Not dramatically.
Maybe without a warning.
Just… a random Tuesday.
Halfway through a plan you thought you had time for.
And the world will keep moving.
Your emails will be replaced.
Your number will stop lighting up.
Your name will be said less.
Someone will be driving your car and living in your house.
Death is my daily teacher.
It reminds me…
stop waiting.
stop overthinking.
stop living like life is a rehearsal.
You don’t need more time.
You need more inner-self confidence.
So dance.
Say the thing.
Take the risk.
Because one day…
you won’t be able to.
💃
Can we expand the way we talk about grief?
Grief isn’t only about losing something you had.
Sometimes we grieve the life we chose not to live.
➖The city we never moved to.
➖The career we never pursued.
➖The relationship we chose to leave.
➖The child we consciously chose not to have.
➖The version of ourselves we’ll never become because we chose another path.
I can be completely confident in my decision not to have children AND still grieve some of the experiences I’ll never have because of that choice.
That’s not regret. That’s grief.
EVERY meaningful YES comes with a NO to something else.
And choosing the loss doesn’t mean there was no loss.
