Most website projects begin with design. We begin with commercial positioning.
With 40+ years of combined expertise across brand strategy, digital strategy, UX design and marketing ex*****on, Mino Design and Digital and Brand.4.Profit bring the strategic depth property and construction businesses need before they invest in a new website. Together, we create brand-led digital platforms that strengthen credibility, clarify market position and support better commercial outcomes.
Many property and construction businesses come to us thinking they simply need a better website. But a new website alone cannot solve unclear positioning, generic messaging, fragmented services or a lack of compelling proof.
You may have strong capability, major projects, experienced people and an excellent track record. Our role is to bring that value to the surface via our Brand Elevation Process. We clarify what sets your business apart, shaping the right message and translating it into a credible, high-performing website that builds confidence and converts the right opportunities. It all starts with the brand strategy.

Someone asked ChatGPT for a web designer in Brisbane this morning. It answered with five names.
That's how a growing number of people find businesses now. They don't scroll ten blue links, they ask a question and get a shortlist.
AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) is the work that gets your business into those shortlists. And the starting points are more doable than you'd think: answer real client questions on your website in plain English, add FAQ schema, and keep your business details consistent everywhere they appear.
The businesses starting now will be the ones getting named next year. We've written a full plain-English guide - it's on the blog at minodesignanddigital.com.au.

AI tools can't recommend a business they can't understand.
Before an AI search engine names you in an answer, it builds a picture of your business from everything it can find: your website, your Google Business Profile, directories, reviews. If those signals are thin or they contradict each other, it moves on to a competitor it understands better.
The five signals that matter are in the carousel. None of them are glamorous. All of them are fixable in weeks, not months.
Save this one for your next quiet Friday afternoon - working through the list is a genuinely good use of it.

Your Google Business Profile is more powerful than most people realise.
It's often the first thing a potential customer sees. And it feeds directly into local search and AI Overviews.
A complete, regularly updated profile with photos, services, reviews, and posts can outperform most paid ads for a local business.
When was the last time you reviewed your profile?

Search has changed significantly in the past 12 months. Your potential clients aren't just using Google anymore. They're using AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's own AI Overviews to find answers and recommendations.
The businesses showing up in those results have structured, well-optimised digital presences. And here's the exciting part: AI is now giving us insights into search behaviour that simply didn't exist before.
One of the most practical things you can do right now: think about the questions your clients are actually asking. What do they search before they hire someone? What do they want to know but don't always ask? A well-built FAQ page answers those questions directly, and gives AI tools exactly the kind of structured content they need to recommend you.
This is what SEO and AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) is all about right now. Getting it right is one of the highest-leverage things a small business can do. If you haven't reviewed your search visibility lately, now is a great time to get in touch.

Schema markup. Invisible on your website. Clearly visible to AI tools.
It's code that tells search engines and AI exactly what your business is, what it offers, where it's located, and who it serves. And most small business websites don't have it.
It's one of the highest-leverage things you can add, and one of the most overlooked.
Does your website have schema markup? Your developer will know. If the answer is no, it's worth fixing.

More and more, clients are coming to us feeling completely overwhelmed by AI. Not because they don't want to use it — but because there's so much out there, so much hype, and no clear starting points.
The truth is small businesses have never had more leverage. AI has fundamentally changed what's possible: for your marketing, your visibility, and your ability to compete with businesses twice your size.

FAQ pages used to be an afterthought. Now they're one of the highest-value pages on your website.
AI tools love structured Q&A content. It's exactly what they pull from when answering a search. A well-written FAQ can get your business cited in AI results. You can also add FAQ sections to the bottom of your pages for added value.
The key is writing for the questions your customers actually ask, not the ones you wish they'd ask.
