The Brighton Tennis Club performed well at the Victor Masters Games last weekend.
Our Club President Jamie picked up Gold for the Men’s Singles 50+ then went on to win Gold in the Mixed Doubles 70+ with Ainslie. It was great to see Anna competing again and winning Bronze with Brad in the Mixed Doubles 70+. Brad also won Silver in the Men’s Doubles 70+ with Josh.
Bill & Rob won Gold in the 130+. Vicki & Deb Gold in the 130+. Bill & Vicki won Bronze in the Mixed 130+ playing off against Deb & Rob. Deb also won Gold in the Masters Mile. Congrats to everyone who competed and to our wonderful families & members who came and supported us.
Special mention to Michelle for providing the best charcuterie board.

A great start to the Masters Games for the Brighton Tennis Club. Deb Halse won Gold for the Masters Mile then went on to win Gold with Vicki Greaves for the 130+ women’s doubles. Bill Hoff and Rob Hill won Gold for the 130+ men’s doubles.
Hopefully more medals to come. Thanks to all the members who came along to support the players. We celebrated in style.

The weekend at Brighton Tennis Club concluded on a high note with Sunday's events. A lucky dip competition, open to all members, was a resounding success, thanks to the efforts of Brad and Heather, who organized the event, and Tony and Rob, who prepared a delicious BBQ, supported by the ever realiable Di. The fast 4 format led to a closely contested competition, with Di and Steve emerging victorious over Jamie and Mick.
The Women's Doubles Final was marked by an intense match between Ainslie and Gaye, who got off to a strong start, and Anne and Deb, who staged a remarkable comeback, ultimately winning in a thrilling tie-breaker.
The Women’s Singles was played in great spirit with Gaye showing the benefits of her Cardio Tennis! Congratulations to Michelle who took on the challenge after only being a member for a short time.
Well done again to Brad & Heather for all their efforts. We look forward to more members participating next year.

The Brighton Tennis Club recently hosted an outstanding weekend of tennis, with the Men's Doubles Final on Saturday being a standout event. Steve and Brad mounted a strong challenge but were ultimately outplayed by Jamie and Tony. The Mixed Doubles match saw Gaye and Jamie prove too strong for Deb and Bill, who put up a good fight. In the Men's singles, Jamie outmaneuvered Steve in a closely contested match, capping off a perfect weekend for Jamie with three wins. Thanks are due to the members who cheered on the competitors, making for a fantastic day of tennis.

Looking forward to a great afternoon at the Brighton Tennis Club with the finals of the Club Championship being held.

Well the annual Club Championship is in full swing. Yesterday saw the mixed doubles played in perfect conditions. Congrats to all who participated it was great to watch. Jamie & Gaye thru to the final along with Bill & Deb who narrowly defeated Steve & Ainsley which was a terrific game. Steve & Heather played with great spirit. Well done guys.

What a fabulous day at the Brighton Tennis Club. Thanks to David and Angela for organising a great tennis tournament and a delicious BBQ Colombian style 😋. Conditions were perfect with some hard fought games with several tie breakers being played. Thanks to everyone who participated making the day possible. And the winners were Paul squared.

Exciting times at the Brighton Tennis Club with our new coach David Lizcano bringing some new energy to the club. He has daily clinics Monday to Friday at 2-3pm Monday & Thursday and 3-4pm Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday. All welcomed.

In addition we have our first Open Doubles Tournament Sunday 7th December with a combined 110+ age per couple. See flyers below for details. Everyone welcomed.

We would like to thank Sarah Andrew’s for attending our Open Day. It was a pleasure to see her hit a few winners with our club president Jamie while Brad offered Sarah some challenging shots to return. Our appreciation goes to all members who helped make the day a success. We were delighted to welcome many visitors. Thank you for attending and we hope you had a great afternoon.
