Your workout is only part of the process.

Every session creates a demand on your body - and what happens afterwards is where adaptation begins.

At a cellular level, your body is constantly working to:

→ Repair damaged tissue
→ Replenish energy
→ Support muscle growth
→ Restore your nervous system
→ Adapt to the stress you’ve placed on it

Your mitochondria play a huge role in this process, converting the oxygen and nutrients you take in into the energy your cells need to do their work.

So recovery isn’t doing nothing.
