Our superstar Zara Williams has just spent the last three days at Junior State Titles, and as always, she played her absolute heart out. 🏐

Congratulations Zara on this wonderful achievement — we (myself especially 😉) are all so incredibly proud of you and of the determination and dedication you continue to bring to the sport you love.

Congratulations also to every one of the girls who represented Bathurst Netball Association this weekend. I spent time watching each and every one of you and every single girl played her best and never once gave up. Coaches included, everyone involved should be enormously proud of what has been achieved throughout the representative season! 💞

Someone recently reminded me just what an achievement it is to be selected to represent your association, whether at representative or development level. Among the hundreds of girls who play within our association, being chosen to represent is no small feat! Everyone who took to the court this weekend and over the representative season has done Bathurst proud.

💛 R U OK? CHARITY ROUND — THIS WEEKEND! 💛

This weekend our club is turning the courts yellow for a very special cause and we would love for everyone to get involved.

We are hosting our R U OK? Round, with every dollar raised going to Lifeline Central West — supporting the people in our own community who need it most. 💛

So what is R U OK? all about? 💭
R U OK? is about reminding us all that a simple, genuine question — "Are you OK?" — can change a life. Mental health matters every single day and it is so important that we look out for one another. You do not need to be an expert to check in on someone. Sometimes just noticing, asking and truly listening is enough to let a mate, a teammate, or a family member know they are not alone. 💛

This ties in wonderfully with our Push-Up Challenge which again is about raising awareness for mental health and the lives we lose far too early — and reminding everyone that it is always okay to start the conversation.

How to support our cause this weekend 💛
🫶 Wear some yellow — socks, beanie, ribbon, tutu, yellow hair spray!
💛 Grab some yellow ribbon for the girls' hair on the day
🪣 Drop a gold coin donation in our donation bucket (available all day)

As part of our Charity Round on 13th June, we are pushing up for Mental Health, the silent assassin that touches so many of us in so many ways.

The challenge kicks off TODAY, but do not stress, there is still time to jump in, and we would absolutely love to see as many of you as possible get involved!
