What a season it’s been for our Bathurst ’75 women.
From ages 14 to 49, our women’s squads have shown exactly what a strong female football program looks like.
It hasn’t been an easy season. We’ve been hit with some significant season-ending injuries, had weekends where numbers were tight, and plenty of weeks where our squads needed to rally around each other just to make sure everyone had the support they needed.
We’ve had some amazing wins where everything seemed to click, and other weeks where we’ve had to dig pretty deep to find our best football. But through all of it, our women have kept turning up, competing and, most importantly, supporting each other.
Our 2nds, 3rds and 4ths haven’t operated as three separate teams. Players have stepped up, filled gaps and helped each other out all season to keep our women’s program strong across all three grades.
Our 3rds have now wrapped up their season, our 2nds have one last match to go, and our 4ths are finals bound once again, with one final regular-season challenge against table-toppers Lithgow this weekend. 👀
And somehow, all three squads have survived sharing the same coach... although we’re not entirely sure the coach has survived sharing all three squads. 😴😂
A huge thank you to Ray White Bathurst, who have backed our female football program for the past three seasons. Long-term support like this matters. It helps us continue creating opportunities for women and girls to play, compete and stay involved in football.

You might have heard our WPL lads are gearing up for another Grand Final. This one’s at home though - but through the season we were fortunate to have the support of long time sponsor Sinclair Buses to get the boys to their away matches!

$100 up for grabs‼️

We are rostered to cover the canteen for the final 4 rounds of the season.

For each shift you cover, you will be entered into the draw to win $100.
We will draw a winner for each shift 💰 so there's a chance of winning up to $500!)

8:30am to 10:30am

SUNDAY 13th SEPT
12:30pm to 2:30pm

SUNDAY 20th SEPT
11:00am to 2:00pm
(split into two shifts: 11:00am to 12:30pm & 12:30pm to 2.00pm)

Long time Bathurst District Football Stalwart Ron Hemming, himself a Parkinson’s sufferer, and the team from Parkinson’s NSW will be at Proctor Park this coming Saturday for their fundraising Gala Day.

All proceeds go to Parkinson’s NSW. Donations can be made by Gold Coin Donation (or more) on the day, and they are running 4 massive raffles.

The day will culminate at 3pm with a feature Mens match between Eglinton and Rangers for the inaugural annual trophy.

The fun will continue straight after. Aspiring strikers may enter the Knockout Penalty shoot out, and then there will be a Long Kick Contest.

After the festivities there will be presentations in the clubhouse for the winners, and a chance to have a drink with Ron and the team.
