Begbies Civil Contracting is a local, family owned and operated Civil Construction Company who is seeking a Plant Operator on a Full Time basis, to join our team.

Begbies specialise in Residential & Industrial Subdivisions, Certified Sewer & Water Installation, Drainage, Roadworks, VEDN Accredited, Bridge Reconstruction and General Earthworks.

- Projects located in Ballarat and surrounding areas
- OHS Construction Card
- Drivers Licence
- Civil Construction experience
- Plant Operator Tickets
- Strong commitment to Health & Safety
- Willing to work overtime
- Must be a dedicated worker within a team environment, have a positive attitude, use initiative and have an eagerness to learn
- Undertake training if necessary

What began as a bare block of land, has now been transformed into a vibrant, thriving and award-winning community. Begbies Civil Contracting are proud to sponsor this years Ride 4 Bella, 12 Hour Rideathon on Saturday 29th November 2025. Bella Tuddenham grew her angel wings from Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) at 20 days old. We ride for Bella to create awareness of SMA and raise vital funds for research and to support children and families who are living with SMA.

We have a team of 10 awesome riders so please get behind this great cause and donate to help those in need! 🥰
